Fortunately, Unfortunately. The story unfolds......

Some smarty pants comes out of nowhere and starts another story.
An old lady was walking through a dark forest late one night. She had a powerful torch to light her way, but unfortunately....

Her torch began to flicker, growing dimmer and dimmer. She became aware of the strange night noises in the forest. But wait! Suddenly an eerie sound! A harmonica? Fortunately....

It was being played by someone who actually did know how to play it.
But, unfortunately, it was a tune she hated.

fortunately, the tune changed to a waltz and out of the darkness someone began to waltz her around and around in the woods.
She loved to waltz but her unidentified partner picked up so much speed that she spun away and he unfortunately whizzed away clear into the next village!

Fortunately the old lady found herself collapsing onto some lovely soft moss where she had a peaceful sleep until unfortunately....

a hot air balloon came into view and the people on board shouting to her to get on and go for a short ride. She shouted, 'No! I can't get to the basket!' They threw a rope ladder to her and she began to ascend the ladder and fortunately....

She managed to climb into the basket and enjoy the sensation of gliding through the air when unfortunately...

she saw a huge black rain cloud in the sky that looked as if it was going to burst....fortunately....

a weather expert was aboard and he managed to blow the black cloud over the horizon but unfortunately.....

Some kid on the ground with a bow and arrow fired at the balloon, fortunately...

It only grazed some ones ear but unfortunately the blood kept running…..

The windy weather expert dug out the first aid kit and bound up the ear. The jaunt continued but the hot air balloon floated right into the middle of a murmuration of starlings unfortunately....

Causing the balloon to hurtle to the ground, but fortunately...

It landed on very soft ground but unfortunately

It landed right on several big juicy cowpats in a field where cows were grazing, but fortunately...

a high wind came from nowhere and washed the cowpats away but unfortunately .......

that should read 'high wind and rain'

Our adventuress had been invited to a costume ball but with no costume to hand. Having landed in a field, she spotted a clothes line in the near field fortunately.....

...there were plenty of clothes for her to choose from to make a costume but unfortunately...

she had to climb a very high fence to get into the field. The cows merely looked puzzled and did not interfere fortunately......

But then along galloped a bull, eyeing up the cows until he saw our adventuress, pawed at the ground and headed straight for her and unfortunately.......

the bull, not paying attention, tangled with the clothes on the line! He could not shed the clothes from his horns and pirouetted, pranced and danced a jig. The watching cows desiring his attention, finally taught him the hokey pokey, fortunately!

Unfortunately, the bull was more used to the Hokey Cokey, so he got his legs all in a twist trying to copy the new steps.
Fortunately Daisy, the horse from a NEIGHbouring field knew both dances so she swiftly came to his aid.

Unfortunately...

Trying to look fetching to regain the bull's regard, the cows retrieved scarves from the line and styled them on their heads looking very alluring indeed, fortunately.....

...the scarves were of the local girls hockey team colours, so the cows looked fab.
But, unfortunately...
