Our child needs a cot!”, mother cried.
“ Does he really ?” , the father sighed
"He could sleep on the floor
Right next to the door”

A month until St David's Day
Promise of Spring not far away
Daffodils blooming
New lovers swooning
And off on honeymoon by May.

But not on a decrepit ship
Somewhere with palm trees
A soft, balmy breeze
And a hotel bill that's really a pip
