To help new players the rules on this strict version are
Rows 1,2 and 5 have 8 syllables
Rows. 3 and 4 have 5 syllables

As kids love to play in the snow
Nowadays they have far to go
For making snowballs
Despite Mother's calls
To go in and play with the dough

Dark clouds are filling the blue sky

The jingling sound that it makes
Is pretty and gives me the shakes
Though next door, at the zoo,
An Oz kangaroo
Escaped, along with the snakes!

I quite fancy banging a drum
But it makes my tinnitus thrum
So a tambourine
Is softer, I mean
I`ll just tap it down on my tum

I think I’ll return to dry land
Maybe I’ll just walk on the sand
Build castles, or three
Have a nice cream tea
And then join the local brass band.

If you looked carefully there were fish
Sea anemones you might squish
A crab caught my foot,
I stupidly put
In his way, which he found delish.

They are not as stubborn as mules
That is for daft ignorant fools
`Member` the sea side?
How I loved to ride
Especially through all the rock pools

If you looked carefully there were fish

I`d have donkeys if I had land
Tho` their braying would make me mad
So gentle and sweet
All your grass they`d eat
And always eat out of your hand

They are not as stubborn as mules
