LIMERICKS 6

I never can make up my mind
I’m just one of the dithering kind
I'll ha and I'll hum

I never can make up my mind
I’m just one of the dithering kind

A parrot that spoke in choice words
As he stepped into a small pile of turds,
He said "that`s not my doing"
"So who did that pooing?"I
It must be some pretty queer birds.

I'm fed-up with Facebook and Twitter
And trolls who are rude and so bitter
Manipulation of truth, plus fake news
Give me a real dose of the blues
And everyone else in a dither

He just carried on with his round
Calmly earning his honest pound
His bag got so heavy
He called out to Trev - "Eh!"
"Help mate, then to the pub we'll be bound".

A young at heart pensioner from Bude
Called the postman something terribly rude
But postie stayed cool
He goes by the rule
No point in starting a feud

A homeless dog turned his nose up at my crisp
Perhaps he prefers salt and vinegar, will o' the wisp
Bought the owner a meal deal
maybe the dog will eat his fill
And the man said thank you with a lisp.

There's something hiding in a cave out there
I wonder if it's a big, brown grizzly bear
No, it's Puff the Magic Dragon
With his great big winter coat on
I shall venture in there just for a dare.
