I google for recipes. It brings up so many different ways of serving the most ordinary of ingredients. As always the recipe then gets tweaked to suit what is in my storecuboard and my likes and dislikes.

Apart from the usual casserole type dishes I like to use my slow cooker to slow cook a joint of lamb or pork. I make up a spicy rub using whatever I fancy, rub it all over a relatively fatty joint like shoulder and slow cook it for several hours. There's lots of different ways to serve it. Sometimes I make a tzatziki or something with pomegranate seeds or molasses and any leftovers get crisped up in a pan, mixed with a sweet chilli sauce and put on top of a colourful crisp salad.

Thank you for asking this I would like to know as well. I just bought some very nice short ribs from the butcher but don't know what to do with them other than drown them in red wine and garlic.
