Lentil courgette and tomato crumble with broccoli. Added toasts pine bute to the crumble ..a very good addition so will be a regular now

Thai-style egg fried rice with mini prawns (Asda Smartprice 🙂) and a lot of stir-fried veg.

Today, was a bit of a crazy day with alot of errands and super market shopping ..

Lunch was home made wheat pasta Gnocchi and from scratch I had prepared a Focaccia.

Spaghetti bolognese

Left over cottage pie.

The last of the turkey with leek, mushrooms, garlic and thyme., new potatoes and broccoli.

I went out to lunch (gammon and pineapple etc and a pudding) so why am I feeling a bit hungry again?
Perhaps it's the cold weather or the thought of that fish pie!!

We finished off yesterday's minced beef pie. I served it with chips and broccoli.
It was just as good second time around.

I’m using up bits out of the freezer, so a substantial Mulligatawny soup, with lots of carrot, celery and rice - and curry powder, obvs., plus some leftover bits of roast chicken and chopped apple.
With warmed naan bread.

Beef stew in slow cooker,lots of veg, dumplings added last 20 mins. Froze three portions for later use. Love batch cooking.

I made cream of chicken (and lots of veg that needed using up) soup tonight. We had it with bread fresh from the breadmaker and butter.

We have 3 degrees Centigrade - 19.30 and it is quite chilly !

Green Thai chicken curry with pilau rice for me, sausage and chips for DH who’s ’gone off’ curry.
Fresh fruit for me for dessert, DH might have some.

Second half of last night's Seafood Pie.
I made a bigger one at the same time which has gone into the freezer as there's a big Cock a Leekie with prunes planned for the weekend.

I took some halibut out of the freezer at noon, but doubt it will be defrosted in time for dinner. so I'll do that for Friday.

But I did see a hamburger patty left over in the fridge; DH can have that, and I can make an omelette and chips.

Beef, onion, carrots and Guinness in the slow cooker, with mash and sprouts.

Rib eye steaks, chips in the chip pan and garlic mushrooms - a blast from the past.
