This programme annoys me because of the massive discounts the dealers give the competitors. Many of them wouldn’t make any profit at auction if they only got the usual 10 %.

I think most TV’s have an off option these days for whatever this is.

True, but when someone else in the house watches said programme it can be hard to avoid.

True, but we can still have and share opinions on films, books etc. We don't have to watch or read them!
I enjoy the programme for all the other antiques people on it, the shops, except the narrator.

Well I really enjoy both Antiques Road trip and Bargain Hunt, bit of light relief, albeit some guests and some presenters are mildly irritating.

However, by far and away the most fun is Antiques Roadshow, especially when someone comes with a supposed family heirloom which the person clearly thinks will be worth thousands, and is informed it’s worth about ten bob!

I adore Charles Hanson too.

I like Antiques Road trip because it sometimes features shops that I go to. And I like Izzy who’s on it sometimes. Never been keen on Bargain Hunt. We once had to furnish a house with very little money and bought a few things at an auction and it was really exciting. This is one of them: it was exactly what we were looking for and we were so worried that we wouldn’t get it.
