I looked at this, but it seems to be for clinicians only. Howeevr, I may be wrong.

QCovid® is a clinical decision tool intended to support conversations between clinically trained professionals and patients about COVID-19 risk.

I'm an RN so have just done it on myself - I'm low-risk, in the overall scheme of things!

Well I did it just out of interest. I don’t think it asks enough questions. Why do we need an algorithm? Surely with all the information out there this may not be a good way to spend public money?

I’m interested having had Covid as well as three jabs.

I did mine, very low risk of catching it, being admitted to hospital or dying of it which I knew anyway.
Out of interest ayse what questions would you like it to ask?

Just did it for DH as he has AF, his risk is low too. As a 60 year old male he has about a 1% chance of dying in any given year regardless of covid, he has a 0.002% chance of catching and dying of covid.

My score was 81 out of 100.

I went in through another site, as the questionnaire kept asking me to sign for a license.
I think it may even be higher, as I missed out my heart condition. Too depressing to go on, despite knowing it would be high!

Mine was 65 out of 100, no conditions (they didn’t ask about BP) so I guess a lot is to do with age (70).

Wìth a lot of different medical problems and indeed all 3 of us in our house with disabilities etc (youngest son was added to sheilding list last lockdown) so no ive not done it- i darent?

My DHs was 78 out of 100, mainly I suspect because he’s overweight. We’ve both had Covid so I can’t use his risk as an incentive to loose weight unfortunately.

So I did it again and it looks like it is 83 out of 100. I am a young 66, I thought I would live for ever!
Best not to dwell on it and carpe diem !!!

I gave up because I can’t convert my height and weight from imperial to metric without doing the maths…

Neither can I, so I used an online calculator took minutes.

Thanks Marydoll. I feel slightly less useless knowing you had to look it up! Perhaps subconsciously I was trying to hide from the dreadful lockdown truth!

If you just type into google ‘what’s x number of stones in kg’ it will come up with the correct answer immediately. I’m forever having to do this for work when assessing overdoses. The toxbase will only accept kg.

GMSD, I imagined you to be tall, slim and elegant!!! I, on the other hand, am small and fat plump.

I used to be able to calculate metric conversions roughly in my head.
Unfortunately a brain turned to mush has put paid to that! .

I still remember that 1 gallon == 4.4596 litres. Could I convert in my head nowadays, absolutely not!!!

I’ve just done it and my chances of getting and dying of COVID-19 are vanishingly small… 1:19,608! Not worried at all.

I was very slim once, many years ago…. About 5’6, too many covid pounds and I never go anywhere requiring the faintest smatter of elegance!

Looks like I got 83 out of 100. Being old school I had to sit and work it out on the metric calculator.
