Good Morning from a lurker. I'm never usually up early enough to post.
I thought people would like to know that Marzipan posted yesterday on Site Stuff / A new annoying popup thread :

I'm so thoroughly fed up with my Android phone freezing when I try to post on Gransnet that I've decided to stop completely after this post (if indeed I manage to complete it). I just don't trust the site any more.*

I hope GNHQ are able to sort it soon, with the constant freezing as well as the pop up's on an Android it is beyond a joke.

Greyduster - it's absolutely gorgeous!

I'm back at work today! I had a brilliant week off, loved every day of it! I only drove once to see Dr.Roget/Miss Kate's graves; other than that, I walked everywhere.

We had a gorgeous rain/thunder/lighning storm as I was driving back; I'd had a quick pitstop and just as I got back in the car it utterly tipped down with big black thunderous skies! So I stood out in it getting drenched!

I'm a neat freak anyway, but as always, at the Premier Inn, just before leaving, I cleaned the shower room/sink/loo, made the bed, tied the bin bag, and cleaned the whole room. I never made a mess anyway, but I just can't leave hotels or B&B rooms without scrubbing and polishing! And I left a box of Ferrero Rocher for the room attendants!

My next full week off is 24-31st December, then 1st January; just about everywhere will be booked for Christmas, so I'll just stay here in Whitby, ensconced in my flat with no Christmas stuff as I don't celebrate it!

Andy Burnham and I have something in common - we both love Greggs Sausage, Bean and Cheese Melt! I had one on Saturday, and it was soooo yummy!
