Good morning from Malta where it is dark, hot and humid. We expect very hot weather for the next few days at least.

The boys were very lively and busy yesterday. We walked up to the corner shop, the lady there is always thrilled to see them and makes a fuss of them.

DD3 picked them up at about 1pm. She had forgotten to pack DGS2’s inhaler and he was starting to cough.

It felt so quiet after they had gone but I was quite glad to sit and relax. They wear me out, bless them!😅

I hope you all have a good day, especially our poorly friends and those facing life’s vicissitudes.☀️

Good morning from Bristol.
I’m sorry your day out was spoiled by the rain, Mick. The showers are set to miss us, unlike yesterday. It only rained when I was out, then bucketed as I was walking home and got soaked. Dry otherwise.
The date and walnut cake went down well, the were about 16 attendees, which makes it worthwhile holding these coffee mornings throughout the year.
Only church today, so I’ll probably do some more patchworking. I’ve only got about 6 of the 48 blocks to make, necessary for my quilt. I’ve no idea what I’ll do with it once made. I just like to hav3 a project.
May you all have a pleasant bank holiday weekend, and a blessed Sunday. Carpe diem 🦩🐦‍🔥🦩🦩🦩
