Cheese or chocolate?

I have just finished making a very rich chocolate pudding (Nigella’s Salted Chocolate Tart for reference) for a family lunch I am off to tomorrow and there has been (just!) a bit of spoon and spatula licking!
Desperate for something savoury to counteract the sweetness, I’ve had a little piece of Stilton and like the Very Hungry Caterpillar, feel much better.
If I had to choose between them though - cheese or chocolate and could never have the other again… after much reflection I think it would have to be cheese.
There are so many wonderful cheeses, but then, handmade proper chocolatier origin chocolate?
Hard choice.
Which one would you choose?

Dark chocolate anytime. Even better with hazelnuts / praline.

Chocolate, always.

Cheese especially feta and Stilton. I cook with cheese a lot, not so much chocolate.

Dark chocolate without a doubt!

Another fan of vintage cheddar. Cheese is much more useful than chocolate which is just a sweet treat now and again.

Difficult choice.
For me, chocolate.
Nigella always has good chocolate recipes! 😋

I’m a floating voter, I love blue cheese, particularly blue Stilton and Gorgonzola, but I also love dark chocolate - I’d find it impossible to choose between them, it depends on the day.

Sadly dark chocolate can trigger a migraine so I don’t indulge but do prefer less bitter chocolate. A good milk chocolate like Lindt or the bars you can buy in Lidl/Aldi. Also any Belgian chocolate.

Several French Cheeses, a Cheese Sommelier friend had given us to taste.

Cheese although I love both - but chocolate only works as a treat for me, cheese is a staple & when I splash out on some expensive cheese, that's a lovely treat.

Cheese please! Couldn’t live without it 😁

Cheese every time for me. I like chocolate, but I can go for days without having any. I couldn't go without cheese.

I'm with the majority; cheese please!

Just had a bit of brie with my lunch today; it was delicious. Yesterday's lunch was a grill cheese sandwich.

But I also love chocolate, every day I have a few squares of Lindt dark with sea salt after dinner. As much as I love a chocolate cake, tart or pudding, they are treats saved for occasions.
