I would be tempted to keep the scarf latedecember
Hope your day out goes well Mick
Best wishes

Lost my post again!!! However, I copied, as I went along. 😉

Good morning all from a sunny Glasgow, where it is 12°C.

I love Bath, I hope you have a lovely day, Mick.

Baubles, that is so worrying for you, but very efficient service for from your GP. 💐

I have so much church admin to do today, due to feeling so unwell all week.
I went to Silverburn, yesterdaybut gave up and was back home in no time. DH was so shocked!
I still feel unwell and my mouth is so painful. I could put up with it, if it meant, I was losing wait. I am not!🤬

I wish you all a pleasant day, whatever your plans. My very best wishes to my fellow, brave mountaineers. 💕

No other plans for the day but meeting friends at the club this evening.

Thank you LateDecenber I was dithering about the frill, so now you have helped me make my mind up

I do love your gorgeous scarf, beautiful colours and pattern

Gagagran a toile is made in a cheap fabric but I always make a toile well because if I don`t keep it, then I give it away. Made like this with care, it is called a wearable toile so yes I will wear this toile for several summers because it fits me well

I am determined to fabric shop from my stash and already have two lengths laying on my floor, while I make my mind up. They are very large repeat prints and 100% linen. Probably better made into flowy long caftans for next year if I am honest. Yes right, I talked myself into it, two Maison Fauve Lynn or Closet core Charlie caftans to be sewn this winter, so now I will put them to one side and start a list for future sewing projects, good for the hibernating season

It is tipping down, very autumnal all of a sudden

Good morning from Malta where it’s extremely hot and the air quality is poor thanks to a cloud of Saharan dust hovering over the island.

I haven’t had time to read all the posts as I have two lively treasures here who have had me on my toes since just before 7am.

They were good as gold last night as usual.

Maybe show your hairdresser this cartoon Gingster 😂😂

Wishing everyone a lovely day.☀️

Good morning from the east coast. The heavy rain has been welcome for the garden the grass is looking lovely and green now.
This evening we are hosting a party for DHs sister for her 60th which was Tuesday. I need to make a slow cooker chicken and slow cooker curry with jacket potatoes. I’ll get on with that after porridge for breakfast. Then later we’ll decorate the house. There is only 15 people coming but we wanted to make the effort for her. We have the most space for everyone to spread out. My best friend is staying over.

No more child care now for a while DGs goes on holiday today and the little ladies went yesterday all abroad. We have a busy time though with clearing and cleaning uncles flat and preparing his life celebration gathering.

Wishing everyone a lovely weekend. Sending special thoughts to those suffering stress, grief or illness.
Take care 🌼

Good morning, Michael and all GNs from South Yorkshire where it is brightish at the moment but it looks as if we had rain in the night. The grass is coming back very fast now. It was nice to see a pretty sunset last night.

A very broken night last night - I was up making Ovaltine at half past one and even then struggled to get back to sleep so I read for an hour. Yesterday I managed to get some laundry dry before the next tranche of rain and then spent the afternoon making a batch of chilli which I will have to portion up and find room for in the freezer this morning among the mountain of plums and blackberries!

No idea what is on the agenda today - I’ll let the day unfold.
Enjoy your trip to Bath, Mick! Love it!

Have the best day you can, folks.

Good morning all from a cloudy North Leicestershire.

Hopefully the rain we have had recently will continue.

Yestrday was a funny day with DH seemingly operating a hospital driving service all day. I had an eye injection at 9.15. That means we had to leave home at 8.15 to allow for school traffic at that time. Home again by 10.30.

At 11.30 we got a phone call from a neighbour asking us to take her dh to A&E fairly urgently as suggested by 111. I'm not allowed to drive for 24 hours after a jab - so DH sprang into action again!!

We had burgers from a van last night - they are fabulous. We have them whenever the van is in our area. They do most of them gf - a real bonus.

Have the best day possible everyone.

You write so beautifully Madeleine. Your afternoon tea sounded like a little spot of paradise. I do hope the car problem gets sorted quicklycafe

Good morning everyone from cloudy 18° Lancashire.

MrB and I have had a pleasant circular walk today as the footbridge is once again open for business. The railway museum is open for 3 days over the bank holiday weekend so plenty of chuffing and tooting going on 😁

Wishing you all a good day whatever you’re doing. 🌹
