Good morning all from Glasgow, where it is a sunny 10°C
Bella, I smiled, when I read your post, what a brilliant idea. I had never thought of ironing sheets in situ.
Baubles, I have met your Bishop, we were both staying at the Royal Scots College in Salamanca at the same time.
One night, he joined our table for dinner, he wasn't the easiest of men to talk to. The conversation revolved around Latin verbs!🤣
One of our former parish priests has just been made a chaplain to the Pope, a rare honour. I move in illustrious circles.😉
DS was staying up all night to watch the football, DH taped it, to watch it early this morning. Everyone has been warned not to discuss it, until DH has seen the game.
Our small cul de sac, was like Sauchiehall Street yesterday. Our neighbour, who likes to think he is better than everyone else, was advertising flags for sale on Facebook. His garage is full of boxes of them, left over from his last failed attempt at being an entrepreneur.
I commented, that at least he was not a drug dealer, just a flag dealer.😉
A quiet day for us today. DH has offered to accompany me to Lidl (😱), I felt unwell at Mass last night, and still feel ropey today. I couldn't concentrate. It was so busy, that I couldn't find DS &Co, when I came out of the sacristy. It did not help, that they were not in their usual seats.
It was so amusing, when parishioners started whispering and
pointing out to me where they were sitting.
Our P.P arrives home today from Rome, thank goodness. I have a list as long as my arm for him.
Yesterday, I was on his patio, taking pictures of his tiger lillies to send to him! He was afraid, he would miss them flowering1 🤭
Wishing you a pleasant Sunday and best wishes to all, who are struggling.
