I'll be hiding indoors with curtains drawn and doors shut - due to Hay fever and very fair skin but it lifts the spirits to finally see blue skies
,
I’ve just bought some ice cream and plan to eat some of it, potter in my garden and read my book.
Garden for me today, Italian restaurant with DS4 and family this evening.
Gymnastics with DGD and then taking her birthday shopping tomorrow. BBQ in the evening at home.
The rest of the sunny days will be spent in the garden and BBQ’s for meals, absolutely blissful.
No sun here in Scottish Highlands. Brooding clouds threatening rain.
Batch cooking planned for today.
Same as Bohemian, also, my heart doesn't do hot any more. Enjoy the lovely weather, in whatever way you can. hugs
Domestic duties today, our pub garden early evening, garden the next couple of days, bbq Monday with son.
We’ll probably bbq for two a few times, we live near the south coast and will keep away, it will be rammed, so staying local.
Much the same - running around after DD2 and DGS2 like a blue-ar*ed fly! They may come here, I might go there - we just play it by ear.

Gardening today.
U3a quiz Saturday afternoon.
Sunday I’ll get the ferry across to Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth to meet up with friends for lunch at Brasserie Blanc.
Nothing planned for Monday so probably gardening again.
Relaxing in the Algarve the weather is beautiful here. DD2 and the little ones are arriving this evening. We will take the days as they come no real plans
At the moment eating lunch under the shade.
Then I might do a bit more gardening, but done quite a lot this morning. Might just sit and read.
Later I’m barbecuing a whole chicken with crispy potatoes and summer veggies.
Eating a sandwich in a nice place in Easingwold.
Seeing my sister in law and nephew this afternoon and visiting DH's brother's grave.
Rest of the weekend - sitting in the garden, eating ice cream and probably having a visit from various dc.
Ooh, DH and DS1 are off to their last football this season.
Usual white skies here in Scotland. No sunshine until tomorrow when I will be enjoying the rays while doing some light gardening. Happy Bank Holiday everyone.
I am going out tomorrow for breakfast and a walk in the Peak District with DD and SiL, but at the moment, DD is full of cold, so it may not come off, though not much keeps her down.
I also fancy a trip to the Botanical Gardens, which I can go to on the bus. Depends how hot it’s going to be. And in between all that, gardening and a lot of nothing much!
Lying by the pool in Gibraltar sadly leaving tomorrow but Hurrah!! Sunshine forecast when I get home. Have a lovely weekend all.
We stay close to home on Bank Holidays - the traffic around us is so horrendous we can't be bothered to get caught up in it. So grocery shopping and hospital this morning then garden until it gets too hot. A village fete tomorrow after lunch at the pub. Sunday we are meeting up with friends for coffee then Monday we will doss around at home. We've got two weekends away next month with family in Kent and Durham so I'm quite happy to laze around this weekend.
Oh lucky you tanith & GrannyIvy !
I’m actually getting a bit worried that it will be too hot for me this weekend - temperature going up to 90 on Monday.
Sounds like we’re all going to make the most of it though ( if we can )
Happy sunny weekend to you all 😎
Nothing at all as usual
Might do some sewing.
I (almost) have the house to myself as 2 out of 6 away, 1 at work and 1 undecided! I’m de-cluttering our bedroom As DH is set and won’t know when I “dispose” of things 😜

Sounds perfect!
On Sunday we are going to DD. She will do a roast lunch. I will provide a cake for tea. The rest of the day will be spent sitting in her garden looking at the river than runs a bare 50 foot from her boundary and talking to people walking up and down the tow path.
Down in Dorset, had a wonderful long walk, bare footed on my favourite sands, Knoll Beach, Isle of Purbeck, we get as far as the sign designating "Naturist beach" and then beat a retreat and walk in the opposite direction, without looking back. Tea and a scone at Corfe Castle, such a lovely day.
The good weather started yesterday we went to Lymington Harbour and wandered around the town before going to a restaurant. Our last full day tomorrow, some more walking with sea views, I think I've pulled a muscle in my back it's alright if I keep moving but stiffens up otherwise. We'll have a fish supper at a well loved fish restaurant tomorrow evening. Then we wend our way home Sunday, through the New Forest and across the South Downs. Bank holiday at home, the awning will be out and the washing will be on the line. I expect we'll eat outside, not sure what to cook though, I think salad and white wine will figure.
Well, this morning we had a delicious breakfast in our nearby small town. Then we attended a very good talk on Holbein and Hilliard. Then home.
Tomorrow we are driving to another nearby small town where OH will buy shirts from M&S. I will buy a pillow. I’ve booked lunch at a little Italian nearby.
On Sunday our daughter is coming to stay until Monday afternoon. I am afraid we’re eating out again! This time at a favourite place which does the best Sunday roast.
On Monday, if the weather is still hot we may have a barbecue. However, if it’s really hot I find it difficult to be outside.
I’ve just come home from my spinal operation done yesterday. Some of you may remember me posting about it because I was so scared about it especially the anaesthetic.
It was a complete success , apart from soreness of the wound I am completely pain free . I will be hopefully sitting on the garden furniture if not too uncomfortable , if it is I will be catching up on my reading or binging a box set with the windows open .
Thanks to all the people who reassured me , you were right . Sorry if I’ve high jacked!
