Anyone had one ?

V3ra Thu 17-Oct-24 23:33:58

If anything, I'd have a breast reduction. My K-cup boobs cause untold physical discomfort but I'd never spend money on anything purely for appearance.

Madmeg a lady who lives on our estate had a breast reduction on the NHS. She'd been in a lot of pain and discomfort for many years.

I would love procedures but I cannot afford them. I think it’s all ok to have whatever tweaks you want big or small.

...thanks Foxy! It's a case of 😁 not 😞
I once got a mouth thing to work the muscles. Such hard work!!!

No. I use good products.

If I were to do anything - I'd have a reduction, but I won't.

I would not have anything injected into my face, Botox or fillers…
The thing about Botox and fillers is that you have to keep topping them up,they don’t last very long. I think maybe 3 to 6 months… I could never afford the expense of that, but even if they were given those treatments away, I would not have either of them
Every few weeks I have a facial and I have had micro needling and the micro needling was quite successful will have it again in three or four months (£60 Session and I have four sessions)

No. Would never volunteer for surgery of any kind. Face-lifts are, I think, currently still done by humans and mistakes can still be made.

No. Would never have cosmetic surgery. Given up. It hasn't got any worse since my fifties :-) It's my teeth I'm more concerned about!

I'm an ex nurse and of the school of thinking that no surgery should ever be done unless it's absolutely essential. There are risks with any surgery (including anaesthetic risks).

gentleshores 👍

MissInterpreted Fri 18-Oct-24 16:45:47

No, because with my luck and record, I'd be the one for whom it would all go badly wrong! I've had enough emergency surgeries in my lifetime without opting for any for the sake of vanity!

Kate1949 Fri 18-Oct-24 16:53:46

I lost all my teeth as a child and all my hair as an adult. I say be grateful for what you have.

Farzanah Fri 18-Oct-24 17:16:45

You are so right Kate. We should be grateful for what we have, and I can’t imagine how you must feel about this.

Kate1949 Fri 18-Oct-24 17:47:54

Thank you Farzanah. I can't tell you how it makes me feel but then it's all relative isn't it?

Thisismadness123 Thu 24-Oct-24 10:22:43

Please could you tell me where you had this done . Thank you

To my mind the most beautiful women like Judi Dench and Meryl Streep have aged naturally and gracefully. Not for them the permanently startled expression and pneumatic lips. Good for them, I say.

.

CACI ( Computer Aided Cosmetology Instrument) is wonderful.
Started it in my 40’s as I come from a very jowly family and wanted to avoid them (the jowls not the family!).
Have had it for about 15-years now.
Afraid to stop!

Now just go about every four to six weeks.

I’m told by my sons that I look about 10-15 years younger than my age (but I also thank Olay for that).
