Recommend washing machine please

Basically which washing machines are you all happy with! I’ve always bought Hotpoints or Hoover! As long as I have a decent size drum 8kg and a highish spin speed! I’m happy! My last washing machine had 14 min wash & 28 min wash! But I’ve come to the conclusion the fancier it is the more than can go wrong! Am I right!

If it’s a feature you use, don’t get one without a ‘just spin’ function. The fact that my blasted new Bosch not only didn’t have one, but only a ‘rinse and spin’ you have to faff with to get ‘just spin’ - and no instructions in the manual either, to tell you what faffery to use.

Blasted thing cost me about 80 quids’ worth of pure new wool in a jumper I’d spent ages hand-knitting. I mis-faffed and it came out a 3rd of the size.?

Oh no that's a pain.
My lowest spin is 400, the highest 1600 and I can choose anything in-between, or no spin at all.
