How much do you spend....?

I haven't a clue what I spend on a monthly basis. Although I wouldn't buy anything that I consider too expensive.

Perhaps there is no bad grammar and Grannylyn was mistaken.

I've reread the thread twice and still haven't spotted the mistake.Has anyone found it?

Between £40 and £60 depending on if anything expensive needs replacing. And if they don`t have the usual cat litter, only the ones that cost 4 times as much.

I cant of missed it surely, I mostly notice it but dont usually comment because thats very bad manners

I agree about comments on bad spelling and grammar. I have a cousin who was a typical doted on mother’s boy, still lives in the family home at 75 and is always quick to let all know of his dislike of bad spelling and grammar. I see those who need to announce this as those with a strong sense of their own importance! If I want to be marked on my spelling and grammar , I will ask!!

When I convert to pounds, I run about average 90 a week, not so far off of the average here. I'm quite generous with our food budget, getting what we like to eat and not really sticking to a budget.

My husband has an expensive cheese habit, and I admit to buying out of season fruit.

As for the grammar grannylyn, I appreciate the conversational style of comments without having to worry about formal writing style.

I have a Sainsburys delivery every 10 days and spend £100- £140 each time. Very empty cupboards by day 9 but we don't have to buy many bits in between.

I do a weekly online Sainsbury shop for nearly 80% of what we need, which include drinks and household items and spend on average £70. I then do a top up twice a week whilst we do a doctor's visit. No more than £15 each visit.

We spend between £80 and £100 each week. There are generally no top-ups as I keep a close eye on what we have. Things have gone up. Even carrots have gone up to 65 p from 50 p in just a few weeks. I just try not to look! Some things I won’t economise on such as meat and eggs.

Possibly not but most people are too polite and well mannered to mention it.

Weekly supermarket delivery for two, about £60, top up during the week, about £15.

It is not kind to mention grammar mistakes on here. The gran who made the mistake will be upset and may not want to post again.

I've noticed that all food has increased in price, I'm going to start checking out the yellow stickered times at Morrisons. My dog's special treat biscuits at PAH have gone up from £2.79 to £3.19 this week.
