Hi ladies, I am needing advice on how to deal with my twin 5yr old granddaughters because I had another child come to my house crying, claiming that the twins bullied her :/?

I have tried everything but nothing works plus, I don't believe in smacking either so, what can I do?

Try doing more with them, eg baking - they can flick cake mix at each other then have a row about who gets to lick the spoon.
Play Dough (as I already suggested) but they could eat some (it is non-toxic)
Puzzles - one each and no squabbling
Puppet shows, that's good for causing arguments about who is the puppeteer and who is the enthusiastic audience
Painting - outside if possible but not on their own in the street
Chalking paving slabs
Go to the park - with you

The possibilities for arguments are endless and keeps them off the streets.

Tuppence may have got the ages wrong but their are many discrepancies in the three posts Bellesgran has made
In her first post about the twins not zipping their jackets up she says my daughter is a single parent so that means I pick the girls up from school in this thread she says ^ yes I m in charge as the parents are on a weeks training course from work^ at the same time in the troublesome car thread she is trying to pick her daughter up from work with the twins squabbling in the back This information just doesn’t add up so it’s no wonder poster are getting muddled up

It'll all be fine if she follows my suggestions
smile

but zip up their coats before you take them to the park Bellesgran

Oops my apologies, but like Bluebelle I too am confused by the parental situation

My daughter is a single parent so that means that I pick the girls up from school due to the fact that she works
but OP does speak of the parents being on a week’s training course. confused

Either way, the parents need to be addressing their twins’out of control behaviour - at five ?

Yes I agree Tuppnce, it is all rather confusing, so it really is no wonder people are making mistakes - I too noticed the discrepancies about the 'single mother' and 'parents' comments hmm

the op posted on another thread about zipping up jackets. She pm'd me and I replied but never heard anything until this new post popped up . Something not quite right.

Ps, their own house is a safe area where everyone looks out for each others kids so maybe we don't have that in our area.

OP are you saying you let 5 year olds out to play alone in an area they don’t know their way around? An area, your own, where you yourself don’t know whether ‘everyone looks out for each others kids’? Really?

I expect the OP has sorted it all out now.
