I went into Coventry town today for a 'Mother's Day' meal and stopped off to see a sculpture which has been erected at the front of the Cathedral. This sculpture is going around the country, and it's aim is to raise awareness of the number of fatal stabbings in the UK. It's called, 'The Knife Angel', by Alfie Radley. It took him 2 years to create and is 27ft. tall. It contains 100,000 knives which have been handed over to the police. Some of them are actual murder weapons which have been engraved with the victims' names.
It's one of the best works of art I've ever seen. I was so moved by the Angel's face - angry and anguished at the same time. And his hands held out in supplication, as if to say, "Please Stop!"
If it comes to your town, or somewhere near you, you must go and see it. It's wonderful! And you won't regret your time.

Ah dear - why does getting older equate to diminished brain power?
