Morning mick, morning all.

No idea what the outside world is like in North Leicestershire but it doesn't feel too bad. dragonfly might know more when she checks in.

I'm going to order some curtains from JL today too, Mick! School run this afternoon.

Beechnut Wed 13-Feb-19 06:44:40

Good Morning all

Dark and dry here on Severnside.
Some housework and spring cleaning in the bathroom today for me.
If it’s warm enough this afternoon I might go out and work in the garden or possibly a trip to the tip.

Have a good everyone ?

ninathenana Wed 13-Feb-19 06:50:07

Good morning Mick, kitty and all who follow.

Just getting light in Kent, it's quiet mild. Good job too as having smart gas meter fitted today so no power for at least 2 hrs.
What shall I do to pass the time... hmm.
Have a good day everyone.

Beechnut, I used to go to Bus Users meetings in the Guild Hall in Northampton, there some interesting history within.
Nicely situated in the town centre , and close to the shoe museum.

Another beautiful dawn, a pink flush round the horizon and across Torbay. That should be shepherds warning, but we have sunshine forecast all day.
There's birds singing away and people on the beach already despite it is hardly light yet.
I might take some peanuts to try to tempt the squirrels later...

Good morning all and to those who follow. It’s dark and showery here today in Fife. We have our long awaited trip to Edinburgh today so see Les Mis. It’s a musical we love and we are so looking forward to our whole day. Shall make our way over mid morning to enjoy a nice lunch. Hope everyone has a good Wednesday.

cornergran Wed 13-Feb-19 07:35:55

Morning Mick, morning All from a clear, bright corner of Somerset. Nothing exciting today, some cleaning and a bit of sewing. Hope Wednesday is kind to everyone.

Gagagran Wed 13-Feb-19 07:36:12

Morning all! A beautiful dawn with a pink sky and wall to wall sunshine promised here on the south coast. Just what the Dr ordered!

I collected my M&S shoes parcel yesterday and tried on in the store but alas - had to go back. I have one foot wider than the other and the shoe didn't fit that foot. I need EEE fitting with an insole in the normal size foot.

Good luck with the curtains kitty and Mick . DH is out with his bike club today and I have choir this evening but otherwise not a lot on the agenda.

Enjoy your days everyone.

NanKate Wed 13-Feb-19 07:36:33

Morning Mick and All.

Light pink sky in South Bucks. Should be reasonably mild today. How lovely Persistent a view of people walking. along the beach.

We moved into our home 41 years today. DH and I are going for a lovely strong coffee and a made to order delicious apricot Danish pastry, as a mini celebration.

Have a good day folks.

Urmstongran Wed 13-Feb-19 07:40:10

Good morning everyone from a day and mild South Manchester. The sky is just lightening up now but I can’t see much of the outline of the Pennines so there must be a lot of cloud cover. Razor thin streaks of blue though so I’m a bit hopeful of a decent day.

I’m up a bit earlier as off on a coach trip leaving at 10am to Lytham St Anne’s - snowdrops and bacon barms - with 3 friends. ???

NfkDumpling Wed 13-Feb-19 07:41:14

Morning All

A grey five degrees here in Norfolk with a bit of a westerly breeze. The birds seem to think it’s spring.

No idea what we’re doing today. DH is still asleep. Maybe a bit of birdwatching - or book a holiday. The day is our oyster.

dragonfly46 Wed 13-Feb-19 07:42:40

Good morning, it is dry but slightly overcast in Leicestershire but the promise of sun later.
Going to see Mum today and then a whizz round M&S.

Susan56 Wed 13-Feb-19 07:54:01

Marydoll Wed 13-Feb-19 07:57:07

Good morning all, from a dismal Glasgow. It's 10 degrees outside, so much milder than yersterday.
We slept well after our day at the seaside yesterday. How do you persuade a three year old, that she cannot go on the sand. due to the howling wind and waves crashing on the beach! grin It was so cold, but we had a lovely day, despite the bird's nest hair and hypothermia! .
We are out for lunch, as this is the anniversary of our engagement, 42 years ago today.
We shall enjoy the lunch even better, as we have restaurant vouchers, curtesy of our DS and DIL. smile.

Enjoy, Edinburgh and the show, Brunette.

Have a good day, everyone.

MawBroon Wed 13-Feb-19 08:20:01

Good morning all from Walthamstow where it looks to be a fine day. Littlest fella has started coughing again so I suspect no nursery today. But at least Mummy is home from Amsterdam (late last night) and he is currently tucked up in bed with her!
He missed her so much yesterday ? especially by bath-and bedtime as he was tired and under the weather too. It breaks your heart when you can’t take her place, doesn’t it?
Wishing you all a pleasant day.

Nanabanana1 Wed 13-Feb-19 08:27:13

Morning all, it’s a mild day in Torbay today, I’m late up this morning but no matter, only myself and the dog to please today, off out with him after breakfast and then housework, must try and get on with my knitting or beading as there has been no progress since last week and knit and natter tomorrow.
Have a good day all.

NannyJan53 Wed 13-Feb-19 08:32:11

Good Morning from a bright and mild Black Country.

Had a lovely few days away, Spa Hotel near Oswestry, and a lovely walk along the Llangollen canal to Horseshoe Falls yesterday.

Meeting friends for lunch today.

Gaga I ordered shoes last year from Debenhams, when they arrived, one shoe was a size 6 (my size) the other was a size 5! So they had to go back smile

Have a good day everyone.

Harris27 Wed 13-Feb-19 08:39:40

Good morning,
It's cloudy and breezy here in South Yorkshire at the moment, though it's supposed to brighten up a bit later. It feels less cold.
I've started reading the February book club book this week, so I plan to read some more of it today. It's good so far.
Hope today is a good one to you all. ?

Greyduster Wed 13-Feb-19 08:56:23

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Maple has the weather here bang to rights! We are having lunch with a friend today and a big catch up, then DH is off to a football match this evening. Have a good day folks.

harrigran Wed 13-Feb-19 09:06:48

Good morning, dry and mild here in the NE.
Plumber came yesterday and we have a fully functioning bathroom again.
Had a phone call from car tracking company, make sure car is secure. DH went and checked, car was still at door but battery was flat so couldn't even open door with key fob. I don't know what has happened as DH did a run to Cumbria on Monday and it was fine then.
