Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark, and signs of overnight frost here in brackley .
A usual Tuesday visiting Bicester and Buckingham , combining coffees in cafes ,and shopping .
A full day as the last week during the week visiting those towns , journeys were short due to the weather being changeable at the time.
Mick

Morning Mick, morning all.

It's quite cold but dry in North Leicestershire. More pootling and faffing this morning and then off to the other side of Leicester for an Alzheimer's course.

Enjoy your days everyone.

Good morning Micheal, Kitty, Anniebach and everyone, from Birmingham, where it is still dark, but seems fairly mild. An early hospital appointment for me, then my youngest daughter and my granddaughter are coming for breakfast. I have my Italian group this afternoon. Enjoy your coffees, Micheal, and have a good day everyone.

Morning All

Dawn is just dawning here in Norfolk and it’s clear, still and I suspect rather cold, but I’m not going outside to find out.

I’ve bought a four month subscription to Ancestry and am getting rather too involved. There’s now piles of inherited papers all over the floor that I’m trying to tie up and it’s compulsive!

Good morning All x inc. Mick.
I haven't stuck my nose out yet so have no idea what the weather's doing. It's dark anyway.

Have to replenish the larder a bit today as even after a decent shop last week I can only manage to rustle up two or three more days of meals. I don't know where it all goes as I'm on my own ! I'm not greedy I just like a lot.

Having my own concoction of orange stir-fry chicken today, with rice noodles. Tasty and nourishing and doesn't take long.

Hope everyone is in fine fettle.( Crumpets and hot choc now )

Good morning as Kitty says it looks dry and calm here in Leicestershire.
Taking DH out for coffee this morning. It will be good for him to get out.
I made an appointment with the osteopath yesterday so we can find out if he can be improved!

MawBroon Tue 05-Feb-19 07:11:20

Good morning from a cold but dry Moseley.
Off home latter this morning and then out to tea/coffee with friends this afternoon.
Yesterday went well, a lovely service but of course it broke my heart to see my brother looking so pole axed by the last 6 months . Met my niece and nephew and their spouses and children for the first time and DD commented on the way home that her "tally" of cousins had suddenly increased by 100%! They were all lovely.
Wishing you all a pleasant day.

Morning Mick, morning All from a murky corner of Somerset. Visibility looks dire outside. Making coffee for about 20 this morning, then a meeting, not sure what after that. A sad day for you yesterday maw, safe trip home. Heard yesterday a close friend has a recurrence of cancer, number four, so much illness. Hope Tuesday is kind to everyone.

Good morning everyone. A touch of frost and quite misty in Northampton today.

Off to social club this morning; we have a talk about Northampton during WW2.

Going to attempt a cake this afternoon...Just fancy a bit of baking.

Hope everyone's day goes well.

Gagagran Tue 05-Feb-19 07:40:34

Morning all! It's dry and less cold here on the south coast after a very wet day yesterday.

DH has an appointment at the eye hospital this afternoon but is going on the bus as I am not well enough to drive. He will have dilating drops in his eye so mustn't drive himself.

Hope the day is kind to us all.

Good morning Michael and all GNs. A lovely sunrise in South Yorkshire this morning, but it may rain later, which is not good news as we are watching GS run in the schools cross country championships this afternoon. I hope it holds off until they have finished! Have a good day, folks.

Good Morning everyone. It is quite cold here and dry on Glamorgan coast.

DH has Ancestry nfkdumpling and thinks that it is excellent.
He has been researching both our family trees for years now. Yesterday he found a relative in Gloucestershire who was buried on Christmas Day in 1741. We then started looking what were key events in that year , one was the War of Jenkins' Ear.

Look after yourself Mawbroon.
Enjoy your day out Mick. Have a pleasant day everyone.

Good morning all. It feels a little bit milder but there is frost on the cars. Managed to find a roofer who is coming out today, to quote for replacing a few tiles. Let's hope he turns up! Still waiting for the gas man to call about leaky boiler. Hope its a good day for everyone.

aggie Tue 05-Feb-19 07:48:30

Urmstongran Tue 05-Feb-19 07:49:20

Good morning everyone from a lovely morning in South Manchester. The sky looks quite beautiful, pink and warm yellows on the horizon where I can see the Pennines quite clearly and the rest of the sky is pale blue with pink pebble dashed clouds. Nature is pretty amazing isn’t it if you take the time to stop and stare?

ninathenana Tue 05-Feb-19 07:49:48

Good morning everyone

There is mist on the marsh and the pavements are damp here in Kent.
Food shopping and coffee this morning. Our nod to Chinese New Year, DH will be making chicken stir fry tonight.
Have a good day everyone.

Good Morning to everyone and to those who follow. A very foggy start day here in Fife, thought my eyes weren't working properly on looking out the window. Coffee with a friend this morning before she heads off to Spain then some shopping in afternoon. Thinking of those under the weather, Take care everyone.

loopyloo Tue 05-Feb-19 07:53:50

Have a good day everyone. Taking DGD to school then to Westfield to pick up a pair of boots I ordered and have coffee.

Then home for what Trump calls executive time, watching tv.

Marydoll Tue 05-Feb-19 08:11:23

Good morning all, from a frosty Glasgow. We also have had a beautiful sunrise, with many shades of red and orange in the sky.
Supermarket shopping and pick up DGD from nursery are all that are planned.
Hopefully it will stay dry and we will manage a walk to the fire station, where DGD loves to look inside for Fireman Sam.
It is surrounded by fields of sheep and cows, so we have to spend time talking to the animals. grin.
Unfortunately a developer has started building houses on one of the fields, so they may not be there for much longer and the beutiful view of Ben Lomond in the distance may soon disappear. sad

Susan56 Tue 05-Feb-19 08:12:00

Good morning everyone.A deep frost in Shropshire today. We are off to visit DD2 and baby grandson today. She has gone back to work now after maternity leave so after a lovely year of lots of visits we are not seeing as much of them so really appreciate the time with them.Precious days.Have a good day everyone

NanKate Tue 05-Feb-19 08:12:07

Good morning Mick and All.

Mist over the valley down to the Thames in the distance. I like your description Urm.

Snap Nina Chinese meal for us too. Any excuse.

Off to the WI this afternoon taking a large box of old stamps DH has been collecting. Our local PDSA need them.

Maw although funerals are sad, I often find that at the Wake afterwards it is the time to meet old friends and relatives and talk about the deceased in a happy manner.

NanKate Tue 05-Feb-19 08:13:13

Morning Mary.

Morning all, from a damp and dull Hampshire. I have to pluck up courage to get a dental appointment as awake with toothache most of the night.
I had such a frightening horrible time at the Dentist a few years ago, which left me traumatised, it has made me very scared and frightened about going.
Have a good day all and take care

Geryfelin Tue 05-Feb-19 08:14:18

Good morning all, from a very frosty Welsh Valley. The birds are queuing up for their food, and the blackbird is waiting for a new apple, having emptied yesterday’s half right back to the skin. A day in for me, until my Welsh class this evening, always friendly and fun. Sending good wishes to all this winter Tuesday.
