Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark, and signs of overnight frost here in brackley .
A usual Tuesday visiting Bicester and Buckingham , combining coffees in cafes ,and shopping .
A full day as the last week during the week visiting those towns , journeys were short due to the weather being changeable at the time.
Mick

I agree Lichfield is a nice place to live- have been here since 1961??

NannyJan53 Tue 05-Feb-19 15:54:04

Chino, I lived in Lichfield for 20 years in the 80's and 90's, really miss living there! My son lives in that area though, Burntwood.

Not quite as late as me, GrannyGravy - but good morning, just about, to everyone. A rather dreary and grey day here in Suffolk but a little warmer than it has been. Spent yesterday doing totally mind numbing but necessary domestic stuff, so today I am going out to get some fresh air.

GrannyGravy13 Tue 05-Feb-19 10:59:27

A very late good morning to Mick, Anniebach and all x

Another day just pottering, the "winter boredom" has well and truly set in!!!

Keep warm and safe folks

Chino Tue 05-Feb-19 10:15:54

Very frosty and grey in Lichfield today, rather disappointing after such a lovely sunny day yesterday

Not much to look forward to except washing, ironing and a trip to Tesco ???

Good morning. Dry at the moment but dull in east London. Off this morning to a focus group concerning the old cricket pavilion on the field opposite. There are proposals with heritage funding to turn it into a food hub. Rest of the day is free although have told my partner I'll look at photos for printing out with him as we need to use up the credit we have with tesco's or we'll lose it. (He did mention the number 400).

Morning all, it's been frosty but dry in South Notts. Should get a visit from my sister later on this morning if she's got over the dreaded lurgy.

Grammaretto Tue 05-Feb-19 09:37:40

Morning all from the Scottish Borders. Minus 1 today. I've replenished the bird feeders for the squirrels and crows
A lot of local politics in our town causing grief but wonderful photos and videos of the GC come in to keep us sane.

Good morning, harsh frost here in the NE.
Temperature rose steadily yesterday and melted all the snow so we did a big shop.
A month on and guest bathroom still out of action, DH is travelling to the bathroom showroom to collect the part himself so plumber can get on with it.

Good Morning from a very dull Black Country, was a frost this morning, but all gone now.

Tiler still working in the kitchen, but we are halfway there!

My friend rang earlier to ask if I would like to go to Birmingham with her on the train. I don't need asking twice smile. So a mooch round the shops and then lunch.

Hope your session goes well today Annie

Anniebach Tue 05-Feb-19 08:49:17

Morning Michael, Annie and all. Still in bed with my early cup of tea, so didn't see any sunrises. From what I can see out of the window, it looks pretty grey ish, but no frost anywhere. DH has a hacking cough, but is going out this morning.
MOMB your African Gumbo sounds intriguing, we are having Osso Buco tonight, made yesterday.
Our shed roof needs looking at, a neighbour promised to send her DH to have a look, but he hasn't been yet!
Usual volunteering this afternoon
Have a good day one and all.

Good morning from a misty Colchester. Feels very damp even though it's milder than of late...ugh.
Housework to get on top of today.

mumofmadboys Tue 05-Feb-19 08:29:33

Morning all! Cycling with U3A group this morning, making African Gumbo for tea and bridge tonight. Should be a good day!

Mapleleaf Tue 05-Feb-19 08:26:20

We've got a keen frost here this morning.
Meeting a friend later for coffeee but otherwise a quiet day in store.
Hope today is a nice one for you all. ?

Annapops Tue 05-Feb-19 08:15:14

Good morning everyone.
More dismantling of the old kitchen today. I'm sure DGD2 will enjoy all the activity while she is here without her little cousin who is on holiday in the Lake District.
Freezing cold outside but the sky is clear so we should end up with a very sunny day here in County Durham.
Stay warm and safe all.

Good morning all, from a very frosty Welsh Valley. The birds are queuing up for their food, and the blackbird is waiting for a new apple, having emptied yesterday’s half right back to the skin. A day in for me, until my Welsh class this evening, always friendly and fun. Sending good wishes to all this winter Tuesday.

Morning all, from a damp and dull Hampshire. I have to pluck up courage to get a dental appointment as awake with toothache most of the night.
I had such a frightening horrible time at the Dentist a few years ago, which left me traumatised, it has made me very scared and frightened about going.
Have a good day all and take care

NanKate Tue 05-Feb-19 08:13:13

Morning Mary.

NanKate Tue 05-Feb-19 08:12:07

Good morning Mick and All.

Mist over the valley down to the Thames in the distance. I like your description Urm.

Snap Nina Chinese meal for us too. Any excuse.

Off to the WI this afternoon taking a large box of old stamps DH has been collecting. Our local PDSA need them.

Maw although funerals are sad, I often find that at the Wake afterwards it is the time to meet old friends and relatives and talk about the deceased in a happy manner.
