Morning everyone.

A late one for me. The sun is shining in Kent, my phone says -1° but there is no frost.
Daft DH is already down the allotment same as every Sunday. I will have a leisurely breakfast and read the papers.
Have a good day.

Good morning all on GN.
-3 here in Surrey this morning, but lovely bright sunshine.
Off for a walk in the Surrey Hills this morning followed by a pub lunch. Hopefully it will warm up a bit.
Hope you all have a good a day as possible.

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. Bright sun means I should have been up earlier.
I'm heading to Glasgow for tonight's final concert of Celtic Connections.
Thanks for the lovely pics Marydoll and DoraMarr.

Your photo looks beautiful Mary doll. Good morning from a very grey Stirling today. We arrived on a very crowded train at about 11 pm last night. Up and about now and the theatre beckons soon. Our little dancer is having her hair prepared right now. So very excited for her but this super calm 7 year old ballerina is taking it all in her stride. Nutcracker here we come. Proud mummy and GM

Good Morning from a very frosty, but sunny Black Country.

Not a lot on today, just finish painting in the kitchen ready for the floor tiles being laid tomorrow.

Lovely photo's Marydoll and DoraMarr , the sky was that colour here too earlier Dora

Enjoy the performance Annapops it is lovely when we see our DGC perform.

Have a good Sunday everyone.

Good morning from a very cold but brilliantly sunny S.E. Our 4th full day without CH as boiler is has stopped working. Engineer coming tomorrow. To DD2 and family in Brighton later for roast lamb and warmth. Have a good day, everyone.

Urmstongran Sun 03-Feb-19 09:49:30

Good morning everyone from a cold South Manchester. The roofs (is it rooves?) are still white with snow that has not melted since Wednesday as it’s so cold. At least the pavements lower down & the roads are clear.
Roast pork and stuffing dinner at 3pm with 86y old second dad. Since mum died last year we like to invite him when we can. Off to the pub with him first though for a pint. He enjoys being out and watching everybody!
Have a good day all.
Thanks for all the lovely views you clever people know how to post.

Morning Mick and All.

Snow melting in South Bucks.

Off for a walk at NT Cliveden to seek out the snowdrops and have a coffee.

Brilliant photos Mary and Dora.

The Sun Records Concert was great last night. If you like Rock and Roll do go and see the touring show. The young pianist Cody Lee who plays the Jerry Lee Lewis music was particularly good.

Have a good Sunday folks.

Nana3 Sun 03-Feb-19 10:07:20

Good morning all. The snow is still around in Lancashire, the pavements are treacherous.
Have a good day everyone.

Good Evening All especially those not well! grin Another lovely day, 38C, but a cool change now with us.
Adieu

Good morning. Sunny again outside in east London; no sign of the overnight frost. Had a good walk yesterday from tower bridge to Greenwich following the Thames path which means today could be a domestic one. Should see GD later - we normally do the transfer between her parents at weekends.

Mapleleaf Sun 03-Feb-19 11:05:19

Good morning all.
It’s a beautiful but very cold morning here. DH is out topping up the bird feeders and water for the birds who are queuing up on the hedge in anticipation! ?
Yes, Scotland did well at the rugby, but so did England, who I’m rooting for !! ?? I foresee a bit of friendly rivalry amongst us??. (Actually, it’s DH who is the big fan, he played rugby himself in his younger days, but I go along with it. I’ll never understand the rules though, but you have to show willing, don’t you)?
Well, whatever your plans are for the day, enjoy your day.

Morning Mick, morning all from a chilly Devon, snow has gone except higher up on Dartmoor, very frosty start to the day -3c at 8 .30, everything covered in thick white frost.

Warming up now 4c, all frost gone, blue sky & sun. Off to do a bit of shopping soon no car parking charges on Sunday at my local ASDA grin

sue01 Sun 03-Feb-19 11:19:46

Morning all from frosty rural Northants.

Just been for a walk along the canal tow path and was amazed to see two swans swimming in between the sheets of ice on the canal. Gym beckons and have lobbed a shoulder of lamb into the slow cooker for this evening.

Have a great Sunday

Pippa22 Sun 03-Feb-19 12:14:46

Happy Sunday to you all.

A bit late in the day to give this tip for icy windscreens but I have tried it and it is so good I want to pass it on.

Get a zip lock plastic bag, preferably a medium sized one and half fill it with warm water and zip up. Just wipe it over your car windscreen and the ice just melts. Much easier and more effective than scraping and hands don’t get cold.

Hello all!
Lovely sunny Sunday here in Devon! Had a long day at work yesterday so a chilled out day is in order today.
National Yorkshire Pudding day today so I’m going to make Yorkshire Pudding Wraps with roast beef filling for lunch!

Nanny41 Sun 03-Feb-19 13:15:12

Sorry, this has to be good afternoon from Sweden, its a lovely day here, minus 3, sunny and so bright with 12 cm snow still on the ground and will be no doubt for a few more months. Been out for a while to breathe this fresh air.

Harris27 Sun 03-Feb-19 14:22:37

Cold but nit as cold in ne this morning staying in till work tomorrow I'm a softy in the winter and suffer with bad asthma so in hiding! Making lunch and chores!

glammagran Sun 03-Feb-19 14:27:07

Snow has scarcely melted here in North Wiltshire. Still several inches deep in back garden.

MawBroon Sun 03-Feb-19 14:33:54

Good afternoon I am afraid. It is a gloriously sunny day here in N Bucks but the temperature can’t have risen much as there is still frozen snow on the lawn.
A bit heavy hearted I am off to Birmingham in a few minutes, staying over then DD is driving me up to Wilmslow for my sister in law’s funeral tomorrow morning. This is the half brother I “discovered” just 4 or so years ago and I instantly took to his wife too.
I am just grateful that we found each other in time for me to have met and known a truly lovely lady. sad
First family funeral since Paw died, too, not sure how I will be .
