I'm not even sure where or how I stumbled across this site, but I love what I see so far. We have no equivalent here in Canada!
Introduction: I am a 57 yr old Gran living in north coast BC. Being a Granny is just a part of my identity; I am a wife, a coworker, a friend and a dog-mum!
I have 3 grown children, 4 grandchildren. 2 live in town, and the others are my daughter's in Victoria BC which is quite far from where I live. A big challenge is being a long-distance Granny, but manage well with lots of face-time and visits every few months.
It is wonderful to have this opportunity to converse with so many others with something in common.

Welcome, CanadianGran. You will be doing well if you do understand all the shenanigans around Brexit! ?
As you can see, many of us on here are confused too, and mightily sick of it.
Canada looks spectacular, and I’d love to go there one day - but would need to win the lottery, I think!
Welcome to Eekey, too.
