Hello everyone
I’ve just joined so am “dipping my toe in the water” as it were. I’ve read all your posts and you seem a great bunch of people so hopefully I’ll be allowed to be in the “circle of friends”?

Mrsh60, welcome!
This is always a plesant, lighthearted supportive thread. Feel free to dip your toe in the water. smile

Good morning all
Grey and dull in Somerset but hey we've been Christmas shopping! All next years Christmas cards purchased, together with four packs of thank you cards and some new decorations for the tree. I can't remember ever being this organised – only trouble is I will probably forget where I put them by the time Christmas comes around again.

Good afternoon, I've been up since 8.30, foggy when I got up then it cleared up but came rolling back in. Clear now but still grey here in Devon. Lazy Sunday with the papers, doing crosswords & Sudoku. Have to put re-cycling out later , 3 more weeks before collections are back to normal!! Tomorrow I will venture out to the shops, today just a typical Sunday.

Good afternoon all from the East Midlands. A bit dreary here but dry after overnight rain. Am thrilled to see one (just the one) snowdrop in my front border!
Have done my weekly shop - the first really normal one after the dental surgery. Did the ironing earlier so now I'm going to put my feet up with the newspaper.

Dull and mild here in Brum. I've just forced myself to go for a walk to try to walk off the Christmas excesses. It was very pleasant out there.

Good Morning! Bright but chilly here in Northern California. Going to take the dogs for their Sunday run on the beach later today. First time I’ll have been out for a couple of weeks, since I’ve just recovered from a horrible cold, so I’m looking forward to the bracing sea air!

Marydoll Sun 30-Dec-18 16:02:29

Nice to see you back, Artols. smile

Hello everyone,
My first message here: clearing up all day after a fantastic panto party last night. Gradually getting the house back in order including a much needed snooze in the afternoon. All this with my partner’s lovely family. I’m afraid my own family is much more problematic! Love to all...

As i'm a late arrival, I shall say, Good Night All!

It's a wee bit early for bed - 7.15pm but I am thinking about rounding off the day with the usual little chores.

It has been very lazy today. I haven't been able to do much physically as the pain has been bad all day. I shall go to bed and spend a bit of time watching TV,

Good night everyone, and sleep well when the time comes!

Hello to both of you. You are most welcome! ☕or ?, help yourself! If it was the Argy, you were visiting, poteen would be on offer...unless they have drunk it all again. grin.

Hope to see you posting tomorrow morning.

Hello and welcome to Mrsh60 and Tillybelle.
I hope you will enjoy joining in with the good morning forum.
DH and I had a lovely day out today, going to Filey. It was so mild!
We thoroughly enjoyed watching the many dogs having great fun on the beach running into the sea to collect balls (real and imaginary) and running back to their owners full of eagerness and expectation! One dog amused us greatly. He/she was sniffing around a small rock (small football size), just where the waves were breaking on the beach. We thought he must have found something interesting underneath it, as he worried at it continuously. But no, what he was doing was moving it about until he could get it in his jaws. Once he'd succceeded in doing that, he ran up the beach carrying it in his mouth (it must have been heavy), and deposited it next to his young owner who was busy building a sandcastle. Had DH and I in stitches!!??. His owner seemed oblivious to what his dog had done, however.
Dogs adore the seaside, don't they?
