What would you like to change for Next Year ?

I’m new to Gransnet and not posted before. Note I didn’t say New Years Resolution ? I would like to be kinder to myself and then perhaps the diet and exercise might not seem such a chore. I have been practising well-being and trying to look at things from others points of view, regardless if I agree or disagree with them. Not always successful but getting better.

Thank you mumofmadboys - determined to lose it that's my New Years resolution!

I'm so sorry for those fighting awful diseases, like cancer, especially our children's generation - it seems so unfair. Also for those facing loss. Several posts gave me a feeling of relief that my 2018 wasn't as bad as it might have been. However, my DD is fighting her own battle with mental illness, leaving my OH and I to look after our 2 year old GC. Let's hope 2019 brings us all hope and a future we aspire to.

Pink shoes on page 1. Am in the same situation. Why am I always wrong ? I can only think that it's a way of boosting their own self esteem. But it's very eroding. Everything has to be criticized, nothing can ever be just enjoyed and appreciated.
Grrr.

Get more organised, like I once was then I might have more time to do the things I want to do!
