Morning Mick, Annie, and all.
Enjoy your granddaughter’s visit Annie.
I am feeling quite nostalgic about Rayleigh, and the meet up there today. I lived there years ago, but expect it is greatly changed now. Have a good chat.
I did wonder about the Ideal Home Show Marydoll ? and hope your little GD is soon back to full health.
Nina hope the injection goes well.
To all GN, have a good day.

Good morning from a sunny West Yorkshire. We’ve a busy day ahead. A shopping spree with the doubled up Nectar points, a haircut, the oldies’ cinema screening, a local history talk. And lots of cleaning (if I fit any of it in).

DGS3 made me laugh yesterday. He asked me at playgroup if he could have another biscuit and I said no, I’ve been watching you and you’ve already had four. I haven’t, he retorted indignantly......I’ve had five.

A late good morning from a very dull Essex. Just dropped my car of for its MOT and service, just hope all goes well. Later have the dreaded talk with our vet about the future (or not) of one of our very elderly dogs. And finally a visit to sister who is in a very nice care home. Hope you all have a good day.

Lovely day in the West Mids. I'm off shopping leaving DH cooking - I am best off away from that. Lovely of him but he turns it into such a palarver smile

Good morning everyone. Another sunny day in Portugal which is good because need to get the clothes washed and dried ready to repack for England again on Monday. My lovely cleaner found my proper winter clothes which will be needed next week according to the forecast. Doctor confirmed the costochondritis so off there for another injection a bit later and every day until we go away. This getting old isn't much fun at times.

Just read the BBC on-line news. Awful happenings at No. 10 and around. Where will be all end? No wonder the weather is so dismal.

Aberdeenshire, once again, is bathed in sunshine. No firm plans for the rest of the day, but have located a graveyard where ancestor may be buried and as it's not far away, may investigate it...must look out wire brush to clean any stones.
Made another hefferlump money box last night at ceramics class.

Hope all are having a good day, albeit a grey one ! I’ve been invigilating in exams on/off all week. I am now packing for a long weekend in Bournemouth, visiting a life long friend, and the forecast is good, fingers crossed ?

Smoke has come back with a vengeance, smells quite bad this morning. But the sun is fighting its way through. Making a batch of Minestrone Soup today for a friend who is ill. This evening to the Ice Hockey to watch the San Jose Sharks. The dogs will have to miss their walk today, too smoky.

Evening Mick, just got back from a lovely day out on my birthday so I am late jogging on. Been a a beautiful day here and in South Wales, feeling tired and relaxed and ready for my evening meal.

Evening Mick and everyone. Late today, and just forgot!
Busy morning, housework and washing. Managed to dry outside as we had some lovely sunshine. Then made sausage rolls for Christmas visit to DD; they are now in the freezer. Of course I had to have a couple to see if they were ok (they were!). And I also gave some to my lovely neighbour who came round to deal with my fallen over apple tree. We decided that it had seen better days, so he cut it down, and also my plum tree which had been poorly for years - very sad, but had to be done.
Also made some burgers from scratch (Mary Berry spicy chilli burger recipe). So much nicer than bought ones, and will enjoy one for tea tonight. Others are in the freezer.
Hope everyone had a nice day.

Hello, all.
I'm very late today, too.
Had a lovely day outdoors, bird watching. The autumn colours are so gorgeous, aren't they?
We were going to go yesterday, but the forecast was better for today, and so it proved to be.
Hope everyone has had a good day. ?
