Good Morning Everyone,
Its still dark in brackley this morning but dry, my usual trip out , but will wear more seasonal clothing as I feel its going to be a spell of a cold period to come.

Morning all! I am late this morning as we have been and done the weekly supermarket shop, unpacked it all and had breakfast. Now here I am!

DS and family arrive tomorrow for the weekend so the shopping was designed around menus for them. I shall be baking in the morningready for their arrival in the afternoon. Looking forward to it very much.

Choir last night played its usual trick and kept me awake half the night singing - not literally of course but it might as well have been . The brain would not turn off, try as I might. Hey ho. zzzzzzz will be on the agenda this afternoon I suspect.

Hope the day is a good one for us all. sunshine

Blue if only we had consulted you, but all day sun is forecast again from tomorrow. It is a wonderful off season place to visit as you will know. Have not needed a cardi, even at night, for our whole visit. It’s been lovely.
The sun is out, it’s Not cold, I might even get a last swim in the warm blue sea.

Good morning to all, grey and misty here, just the sort of weather that if I step outside for five minutes, my hair starts doing it’s own wayward thing.
I love Autumn though, so will just have to wear a hat!

Thank you Riverwalk, I will look on line for tickets. I am not Meatloafs biggest fan, but Husband likes quite a few of his songs.

Anime, hope your granddaughter calls in today x

Morning All, dull dark day as per usual here on Merseyside.

Good morning, bright and sunny but still very windy. Too chewy for me to go out.

Greenfinch Thu 25-Oct-18 09:48:53

Chewy. Is this a regional expression? confused

I'd highly recommend 'Tina - the Musical'.

Great songs and dancing of course but it's not schmaltzy and the first half doesn't shy away from the abuse she suffered at the hands of Ike.

An interesting story.

harrigran Thu 25-Oct-18 09:55:33

Could be Greenfinch, I live in the NE and have always used the term to describe a wind that blows your hair and makes it difficult to walk.

Greenfinch Thu 25-Oct-18 10:40:29

I have learnt something today harrigran. I don't think we have a word for that in the South. I will add it to my vocabulary grin

Good morning all,
I'm rather late posting today, but have been up ages. Got quite a lot of jobs done, then remembered GN. ?
It's a lovely, bright morning, but cool and breezy - will need to wrap up warm when I go to the supermarket.
Good luck today, Dora.
Enjoy your day, everyone.

Afternoon all. I forgot Gransnet ?, whatever is the world coming to?
Hello Annie, here’s hoping your granddaughter visits today.

Have done washing and it’s on the line. Mopped all hard floors, and tried to suck up the leaves with the garden vac, but it’s not behaving itself. I threatened it with the tip, so it is half heartedly now doing it’s job.
Dora good luck for today.
I start radiotherapy on Monday, for three weeks, so may be tardy again with the Good Mornings.
Have a good day one and all.
