Morning Mick and All.

Been awake since 5.15 I will pay for this later ?

Too dark to know what the weather is in South Bucks.

Off to Dunelm today to collect a duvet for one of our DGSs. They are on offer at present at a very good price.

Nannytopsy Wed 24-Oct-18 06:55:33

Morning Mick and Nankate and all who are still asleep. The plumber cometh at 9, so I need to get up and do some cleaning grin.

kittylester Wed 24-Oct-18 07:03:09

Morning Mick, morning all.

It's cold and windy in North Leicestershire. I have to take our big black cat to the vets today for his jabs and then we are off to Birmingham to see Motown!

NanKate Wed 24-Oct-18 07:06:01

Motown, now that’s my type of music Kitty enjoy.

Willow10 Wed 24-Oct-18 07:17:55

Good morning all. Dark and chilly in East Northants, but dry. Exhausting day at Ikea yesterday, followed by a very wakeful night. But grandaughter and her children enjoyed it and it was lovely to spend time with them. Archery this morning, followed by coffee and chat - and probably an early night! I saw the Motown Show in London Kitty - brilliant! Have a pleasant day everyone.

MawBroon Wed 24-Oct-18 07:22:18

I did peep in just after Mick opened the thread but it was too dark to consider waking up properly so turned over and went back to sleep!
So at the second attempt “Good Morning all!”
I am at last pain free - thank you Dr for the steroid jab and all you who encouraged me. I am still very wary though and doing my best to rest it today. I am having a second go at coffee with a friend (got the wrong day yesterday ?) then an Ocado delivery in the afternoon and going to the ballet tonight it’s Kenneth Macmillan’s “Manon” with the English National Ballet.
Wishing you all a pleasant day, you may need to wrap up soon as I understand the temperature is due to drop. ❄️❄️❄️

Good morning everyone . Just finishing my cup of tea then off to “that place” . I won’t have the children in tow today. I felt sorry for them on Monday and Tuesday being dragged to work with me, I bet they wished they were at school.

cornergran Wed 24-Oct-18 07:24:44

Morning Mick, Morning All. Very dark outside, no idea what the weather’s doing other than it’s dry. Mundane sort of a day ahead today. Cleaning and general faffing about. Hope Wednesday is kind to everyone.

Brunette10 Wed 24-Oct-18 07:26:00

Morning everyone, still very dark here in Fife, however think the day will be dry and bright. Have DGS today so off into town I think. A well-known supermarket have their 25% off so will see what bargains I can get. Hope everyone has a good day - enjoy!

Can give you clearer picture as to weather in Brackley , its cold and grey.

Good morning all, bit grey today in Northampton, but have hopefully just put the bedding in the washing machine. Still tired after busy day yesterday, but could I sleep last night? Probably overtired.
Lovely day spent with friends at the memorial arboretum; had lots of chat and catching up with family news. It was so good to meet up in such lovely surroundings. Very impressive place.
Will have a lazy morning, and then out for a 'health walk' this afternoon.

ginny Wed 24-Oct-18 07:40:18

Good morning. Dull here in N. Bucks.
Glad the injection seems to have helped Maw.
I going to the monthly sewing day and hoping I can stay awake as I had a sleepless night. A couple of things on my mind . One worrying and the other sad.

ninathenana Wed 24-Oct-18 07:45:30

Morning all.

Clear sky in Kent but the sun is not fully up.
I should have been having lunch with a friend but she has cancelled yet again. This happens all the time, always a good excuse but annoying.
So a lazy day, as I didn"t expect to be free.

Mapleleaf Wed 24-Oct-18 07:51:04

Good morning.
It’s grey and chilly here in South Yorkshire, but at least the strong breeze appears to have calmed down.
Enjoy your night in Birmingham to see Motown, kitty. How exciting!
Enjoy your night out, too, Maw to see Manon.
I’d enjoy either of those outings! ?
DH and I are going to see Jools Holland next month, which I’m really looking forward to.
Glad the trip to the memorial arboretum was good, Blue45Sapphire.
Well, it’s general chores here today after gadding out for lunch with a friend yesterday.
Hope you all have a good day. ?

Gloomy grey but dry here in Letchworth this morning. Plan to redo my hanging baskets this morning, compost purchased yesterday for the job. Violas i bought two weeks ago and kept in greenhouse and they are now starting to flowers so need to repot them. After a spot of lunch i am meeting with a couple of friends for natter and a catch up.
Have a great day whatever you are doing everyone.smile

Good morning all, it's pretty cold here in Glasgow.
We were planning to go out for lunch, but the tiler thinks he can come later. He is a witness in a court case and expects to be called early.
He worked late last night tiling the floor, which was great. The only downside was that as the adhesive hadn't dried, we couldn't get into the utility room where my medication and the kettle etc were. Forward planning USED to be my forte! grin
Our solution was to go out the conservatory, clamber over all the pots DH had piled up on the decking, cross the garden in the wind and rain and back in through the back door.
Maw, I'm glad you have found relief. Remember to rest that shoulder to allow the steroids to work. I frequently get steroid injections in my hands and I have eventually learned to do as I have been told. blush.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning from sunny Colchester. I am still having to water garden pots it's been so dry here. Getting colder though.
Weekly Wednesday coffee meet up in town followed by a bit of shopping.

Alygran Wed 24-Oct-18 08:14:35

Good morning all.
Bright and breezy again in North Yorkshire. Pleased the injection has given you some relief Maw.
Went to the NMA in the spring with a group from my village. Loved it. I am sure it was stunning in the autumn.
Ironing and a little wander into town today. It is market day.
Off to the cinema this evening to see a Funny Girl.
Have a good day everyone.

Gagagran Wed 24-Oct-18 08:22:15

Morning everyone - distinctly nippy here on the south coast too.

DH going out with bike club so I have a day to myself and plan a trip to the farm shop. It's choir tonight and more rehearsing for the December concert.

Enjoy your day all those with events planned and hope those with ailments are feeling better.

NfkDumpling Wed 24-Oct-18 08:23:52

Morning All

A clear, bright sky in the north of Norfolk. But decidedly chilly. We may go out for a short trip on the river today. Waiting to see how DH is when his body wakes up.

NannyJan53 Wed 24-Oct-18 08:27:25

Good Morning from a dull and chilly Black Country.

Partner still working from home, hence getting up later.

Going to Wolverhampton today on the train to meet up with friends for lunch.

Enjoy your evenings out kitty and Maw*

Have a good day folks.

Good morning Auntyflo and all x

Not going anywhere, doing anything, seeing anyone, I am the most boring person I know

Hope everyone has a good day x

Greyduster Wed 24-Oct-18 08:45:08

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Bright sunshine in South Yorkshire this morning. I woke up at four, in a lot of pain, so I expect it was payback for all the gardening yesterday. It will be fine once I’m up and moving around. We are going out for a walk today around Chatsworth Park and I don’t intend to waste the weather. Have a good day folks.
