Shopping in Aldi the other day and needed 2 cartons of UHT milk (the long-life variety; keeps me going). A new case needed to be opened, but for the life of me I couldn't do it. They must be using stronger glue or perhaps I'm getting old. I asked a gentleman standing nearby who I thought (mistakenly) was a staff member; another customer, but he kindly opened it and handed me the 2 cartons. I thanked him and he said "No prob. GRANDAD"
I've got this far without anyone calling me that to my face, not in public anyway; my dreams were shattered. I had to have a stiff pick-me-up when I got home.
