Good morning to all, blue skies earlier but now grey, warm and humid, just like yesterday, a chance of rain today ( I can only hope!)
A quiet morning, and seeing friends in the afternoon, a peaceful end to the week before the whirl of school holidays begins.

Good morning from Colchester where the sun is peeping out from behind grey clouds. Still no rain forecast here. The clouds just dissipate. I would love a few days rain and would go out and dance in it....fed up of being sweaty!

A very late good morning from me today - I was off line earlier.
It's very warm here. Not sure if we'll get the forecast rain this pm, but the gardens desperately need it now.
Just been out in the garden doing a bit of deadheading and general tidying up, which I really enjoy. ?
Having a coffee break now, but then I really must tackle the ironing before the next load of washing joins it!!
Hope your knee is ok, nfk, take it steady today, and I hope your x-ray results are in, greyduster.

Incredibly I managed to get up unaided - although luckily no one was watching
Nfk: Very sorry to hear of your misfortune. sad
I know the feeling- like, it hurts!
But I'd say "unlucky" that no-one etc. because it's such a pain regaining your feet, especially on your own.
Did the post-op physios teach you their way during re-hab.? Your Guardian Angel must have been on a break! And give window- cleaning a break too!
Have a pleasant recuperation.

Thanks. I’ve given up on the rain dance window cleaning. We even cleaned the cars, the boat and the caravan. Black clouds, very humid, no rain.

No, the physio didn’t show me how to get up without the use of knees. I sort of follow the toddler, bum in the air way of doing it. Is there another way?
