I have made a new cocktail called Desert Sun following this hot weather. Tequila, lemon juice, limoncello and cranberry juice. Who is up for it tonight?

Me for one, with plenty of ice please meno in fact why don't you just pour it in an ice bucket and I'll either drink it or sit in it whichever is more cooling.

Sorry not to have come in for my shifts recently, but the hot weather and Ivan have kept me hot and sweaty and in no mood for cleaning the bar/kitchen/loos here.
Now that the rain and cooler weather is here, and Ivan is not
( he took passage on a slow boat to China) I must do a bit more in The Argy.
Still, it looks fine, have you been cleaning Marydoll?
I looked in last week and saw you and Jane and Doodle
Beavering away with mops and cloths in the bar, but tiptoed away before you press ganged me into the cleaning rota.
You all looked very chic and cool in your thongs and marigolds ( and very little else) but it can’t have helped Big Jim and Barry’s blood pressure!
Where are they btw? That cellar needs a good clean out.

I'm sorry I've not been about, I was too "involved" with the builders. However, they are a tame bunch, unlike Barry and Big Jim.
