I’m 78. I can’t see any reason for hiding my age. Why do people do it? Are they ashamed or what?

73 a couple of weeks ago No problem with my age except I think I m 28 still ??

63 but feel much older! Have always embraced my inner pensioner.

80 and happy about it, what is not to like about living long, unless of course you are not in good health.

I’m 63, birthday in July.
Not bothered who knows my age, can’t change it and no matter how old it is better than the alternative. Every birthday is one to be celebrated.

63 going on 13 or 83 depending on the weather, whether the painkillers have kicked in, time of year, time of day etc.... etc ... and no, I never mind saying how old I am. There are those deluded nice people who say I don't look that old!

Three quarters of a century, gosh that sounds so bad, going up a year in May.

I wonder if any of us have, mentally, given someone an age and are shocked at the reality.

Does it sound daft that I'm wondering who is the oldest gransnetter?
We used to have a couple of grans in their 90s I think (although I won't name the one I remember in case she is reading this and isn't that old)

I'm as old as my tongue and a bit older than my teeth as DM used to say.

I've felt ever since I turned seventy that any extra time is a bonus. My parents both lived well into their nineties but I don't think we can ever take longevity for granted.

I think I got my pension exactly a year ago.

69 in June..... And happy to love the violet flashes in my hair.

I`ll be 75 in June.
Printmiss was one of our older members, still miss her, hope she is alright.

65 in October. Just filled out the form to ‘claim’ my pension and looking forward to applying for a bus pass.

So what's the average so far? I am 72.

70 very soon. Seems an ok age .

Can't believe I'm 72 in November. When I'm with my old school friend, we feel (and act) like we're about 32.
