Jeans - help!

Go onto Ebay... they are selling M&S classics brand new at half price... get a few pairs... i did...

think i'm set for life now

M&S seen to have changed their jeans sizing and the cut is weird too, with great, flappy thighs and cut too high in the waist. In fact, their clothes range in general is rubbish. I tried on a silver body warmer for a dare...I looked like a cross between the Hindenburg and an oven ready turkey. Keep lobbying M&S, ladies and they might start producing what they were aye good at...elegant, quality classics.

Strangely, I find ASDA elasticated jeans very comfortable for every day use. Only £12.50 per pair. I have brown, black, navy blue and pale blue ones. They are elasticated all the way round and wash well. So comfy.

Sainsbury's Tu jeans....and you can find them in short legs too or M&Co.

My vote goes to Damart They have a vast range and it is easy to be stylish and comfortable. They frequently advertise 'half price' offers in magazines and this is when I stock up.

I don't buy jeans any more preferring the stretch of M&S Jeggings, as I like straight leg they suit me although sometimes I do wear a belt

I have footballers knees they are swollen most of the time I would like to get some leggings or jeggings which skim over knees rather than cling any ideas ladies

I have always worn skinny bootleg jeans but have just bought my first pair of jeggings. Asda £12, short standard and long lengths, good material, nice and stretchy very comfy. Wear them with boots. Tucked in. Just need to find a suitable top. Well we all know that if the derierre is covered it becomes invisible.

I have a small waist compared to hips and these are perfect.

Forgot to say elastic at each side of waist.

The Asda Moda denim jeggings used to be great for me, but the new type are too slim in the leg to be flattering.

I need a slightly wider leg denim pull on, don't seem to be made now. The Bon Marche Sara are still too tight around the knee for me.

If you are a bit slimmer, Debenhams Maine New England do some nice jeggings.

You could try all the recommendations for the fit but I do think that jeans are one of those pieces of clothing which do have to fit well to look good.
I personally always buy stretch denim they are not elastic at the waist but give a great fit even when you sit kneel or stand they always come back into shape again instantly.
I have bought from Debenhams and Next. I would never buy jeans from the internet.

I agree Jeannie stretch denim is better, and also just like
Jalima I always wear a belt with jeans, I have a smallish waist ( compared to other regions!)

That's me LG! I have an hourglass figure - or possibly it could be called a day glass!!

LilyBlue - your mention of elastic at the side of the waist caught my eye so I've ordered some pairs of the BM Sara jeans. Fingers crossed!

The problem I have is that I'm lollipop-shaped - big on top but with a flat bum and slim legs. So if it fits the waist the legs are too baggy and if they fit in the legs then the
waist is too tight. That's why I need the elastic.

Fingers crossed - again!!!

I loved Sainsbury's stretch boot leg jeans but they don't do them any more. The stretch has gone in the ones I have and they end up sliding downwards.
