I have just been reading an article on couples who have been married for a long time. We were married 55 years ago, last September, and I cannot for the life of me remember what my wedding shoes looked like!! My dress, yes, headress, yes, the flowers arriving and being put in the bath to keep cool. Even what I had for dinner, before getting dressed in all my finery before going to Church. But my shoes, NO. I can see my going away outfit, suit, gloves, and yes even those lovely shoes, so why can't I recall my wedding shoes? I presume that I did wear some.
. Any one else got a blind spot in their memory of a, supposedly, memorable occasion?
Has anyone else noticed their energy levels change as they've got older?
