We have had quite a heavy snowfall on the North East coast this morning. Brrrrrrr
Chatting to the DGC (11,9 and 7) on the way to school, my grandson (the youngest) said that whilst he could remember snow falling out of the sky, he can't remember it being on the ground thick enough to build a snowman. It set me off thinking how the weather has changed so much and wondering if there are weather patterns that come in cycles lasting several years. When I was a child of the 60's and 70's we always seemed to have deep snow in the winter or is my memory playing tricks on me?
