Christmas Cards

I enjoy sending and receiving Christmas cards, they are not too expensive.....but the postage certainly is now.
Am wondering if I should cut down the list to only those I intend to see again or keep in constant touch with.
A bit of a dilemma as I don’t want anybody to feel hurt by the lack of a card ( or will they even notice?) grin
What do others do?

I spent nearly all afternoon today writing cards, to find that the last 3 cards in the box were minus envelopes!

I'm only sending a few this year and I'm putting something on FB to let people know I'm not sending cards but donating to Mary's Meals instead.

callgirl why does that happen? I used to find I’d end up with cards that didn’t fit the envelopes. Obviously my fault. A bit akin to the socks when one of a pair gets swallowed by the washing machine. One of life’s insoluble mysteries. This year I managed to fit cards to envelopes. Hope you can find some larger envelopes somewhere CG.

There are just three left to finish, written but needing letters. They are eyeing me accusingly from the dining room table hmm

A few years ago, my husband came home from work and told me he`d bought some Christmas cards. I said I`d already got some, he said "Yes, but these have envelopes." Bless him, he thought that envelopes had to be bought separately!

I seem to be left with cards without envelopes and lots of envelopes (over the years) that don't fit any of the spare cards!

Been out, those cards are still on the table, have shut the door to the dining room. Out tomorrow, out on Thursday, oh yipee I can ignore them. Then post them on Friday and phone up instead.
