What's wrong with 'pissing off the fairies'?

I have been known to use that word (now I know it is offensive) but only when driving, on my own in the car, and some other stupid twat motorist drives at 22mph in a 60mph area then speeds up when there is a chance to overtake etc etc.

I think that's lovely Anya. Good for him. The realms of imagination should be encouraged I think. Must admit, I've always baulked at girls in girly pink being pretty and boys in blue being tough and masculine. My daughter was encouraged to play with Meccano, train sets and Lego as well as with dolls. She gave her first doll a boy's name, with no encouragement from her parents! I'd like to think my sons have a sensitive side and they were encouraged from an early age to hug, reach out and talk about their feelings, and play with their sisters dolls.

Must admit, grown son has had a telling off from me a few years ago for wearing a T shirt with slogan containing a swear word. I can swear like a trouper if the occasion arises, but hate to hear bad language just for the sake of it. I told son that putting swear words on his chest lacked sensitivity and that forcing other people to view offensive language wasn't clever. I am glad to say he must have taken heed, as I haven't seen him in that T shirt since.

I'd be the same with the fairy sign. I don't find it offensive as such but a nicer slogan is more in keeping with a magical creation. It strikes a crude note, if you know what I mean?

I think fairies are probably quite crude and rude and not at all like they are portrayed by Disney. They might appreciate the joke.
