pogs and there you had it in one
"The Silent Majority are simply going about their own business, seeing what is going on in their lives and surroundings with regard to their everyday living and making decisions for themselves. "
In other words they only think of themselves ,cant imagine they would ever be in the same position of people who are on benefits, because of sickness they didn't ask for or because they had a good family life then lost their job...they are the people the tories hit hardest the women ,mainly, who the 3rd child benefit withdrawal (rape clause) will hit.The I'm all right jack brigade just dont care !"
I was answering the OP question 'Are there typical characteristics of supporters of the MAIN POLITICAL PARTIES.!!!
I will however answer your spin on what I said.
The 'Silent Majority ' are not necessarily thinking only of themselves!
The Silent Majority are perfectly capable of imagining what life on benefits would be like, some will indeed be on benefits because of sickness, lost their jobs!.
The Silent Majority are only seen as 'The I'm alright Jacks' brigade by political motivated idiots who don't understand that the 'Silent Majority' is NOT a political party motivated by hard line politically motivated/brainwashed commentators.
The ' Silent Majority ' cannot be put into boxes! They are free thinkers who will work out for themselves how their NHS Service is going, how their schools are performing, how they see their councils funding appropriate or inappropriate services etc. etc. They do not react kindly to what they know to be the politics of class warfare, political spin nor being told who to vote for. They are not interested in the small minded political beliefs of others who have a superior attitude, a self righteous belief their way is the only way.
Thank goodness or we would live under a dictatorship!!
