And this is a bit off-topic, but DH came home last year with the cheapest, nastiest and grossest(?) Christmas decoration. A plastic big wheel with plastic passengers that plugs in and turns slowly, while multi-coloured epilepsy-inducing lights flash on and off. Even I'd vetoed the blooming thing, but he snapped it up half-price (who'd have guessed?) on Christmas Eve and the grandkids love it.
Mind you, I did have to stop myself buying a Christmas train complete with track the other day - I just had a sudden vision of it chugging round the Christmas table, bread sauce, cranberry jelly and stuffings in its carriages. I sometimes think being a Nanna has sent me slightly crazy.
