My phone meows with increasing volume. It causes mayhem if it goes off in my handbag on the bus or at the hairdressers.

I have waves as my ring tone which is fine. My DH hates and my DDs laugh at my message tone. It's a hunting horn, called Sherwood. Sounds as if Robin Hood is approaching !

Game of Thrones theme on one and Immediate Destiny of the Chosen on the other - yes I'm a bit weird

Mine are quite ordinary but I do have a harp for WhatsApp. Love it, peaceful.

phoenix the old phone sound is my current one, but I fancy a change now. Plus it seems to be quite popular and if I'm out somewhere, I can't tell if it's my phone ringing. As hardly anyone has my number, it rarely is, so I might as well choose something else!

I have the Captain Pugwash theme tune. My phone rang when I was on a sailing barge trip. The other trippers thought it hilarious.

I have different ringtones for different people. The one for my sister is Peter Saarsted's Where do you go to my Lovely' . I think it was written about her!

I've got the Debussy Arabesque - at least I recognise it as mine! DS's best friend had appropriate ones for family - The Great Escape for Mum and Ride of the Valkyries for big sister.

I set a meow for a cat-loving friend who doesn't phone very often so I forgot that I had allocated that. When it rang from another room, I was convinced that a cat had come into the house and was trapped somewhere - searched the house for half-an-hour before it dawned.

My widowed 78 year old MIL has Single Ladies as her ring tone.
