Ok. When this predicted (by one of our own) war starts up, which country will you be taking your bow and arrow to? And why.

I will be in the Italy camp. Because I like pizza, pasta, Rome, bougainvillea, and extremely old buildings. And sleepy cats lying in the sun.

I shall divide my time between all the protagonist nagging them to stop fighting. Hope not Hate.

But on my holidays I will definitely be in a Mediterranean country, bathing in the sun and sea, visiting glorious architecture, and eating my way around the different countries. And sleepy cats and dogs.

I'll be moving to the Outer Hebrides to hide.

Where are we supposed to be pointing our bows and arrows? I don't want to shoot any gransnetters who have got lost.

WilmaKnickersfit Thu 23-Jun-16 14:28:27

Arrows won't reach me on St Kilda. wink

I hdn't got that far. Perhaps we can design a good lightweight shield, especially for GNrs. Perhaps with the logo on the front for identification purposes.

I think I'm having a Bernard Cornwell moment.

I suppose it would be best and easiest to stay right where I am - the nuclear bunker is around the corner ;)

WilmaKnickersfit Thu 23-Jun-16 15:05:19

That's handy. Is anyone allowed in or do you need a pass? grin

whitewave Thu 23-Jun-16 15:07:07

You wouldn't get a tan though. My option is definitely best.

Badenkate Thu 23-Jun-16 16:25:39

This reminds me of the old 60's question: what would you do if the 4-minute warning went off?

whitewave Thu 23-Jun-16 16:33:58

Oh yes I remember that. It included sex back then I remember. Now it see.s to be nice foodgrin

Mamie Thu 23-Jun-16 16:44:06

I will be shoulder to shoulder with my Norman neighbours...
For light relief can I also recommend this thread on Mumsnet on a very important referendum..

Not a nationality thing, but I will be imposing a fatwa (sp?) on anyone that uses a strimmer for more than 15 minutes at a time, with automatic imprisonment in a spider infested garden shed for those doing it before 10am on Sundays

phoenix Thu 23-Jun-16 19:07:15

Whitewave having looked again at your post, I sincerely hope you are not intending to be eating sleepy cats and dogs! shock

jinglbellsfrocks Thu 23-Jun-16 19:24:29

Well in the 80s in the days of Protect and Survive, I was all set to hunker down in the cellar with the family, my tinned food (and tin opener), my transistor radio, bucket for waste and mattress up against the door. I had a lot of it down there in readiness (I was a bit of a drama queen). We can hardly get down there now to do the laundry because it's housing, amongst other things, 30 boxes of DD1's gubbins, a broken treadmill, 50-odd pairs of shoes and 6 or 7 guitars belonging to DS. So I'll be heading for the Med as well. Might as well be warm and well fed.

Maggiemaybe Thu 23-Jun-16 20:42:07

Yes, Italy, I think. I'm very partial to risotto and prosecco.
