Well Camilla looks good this time. Princess Ann and Beatrice seem to share the same dress advisor.

Beatrice has obviously inherited her mother's horrendous dress sense. You'd have thought someone would have advised her. She needs taken aside and told the truth but NOT by her mother..she just can't dress!

She looks like 'Widow Twanky' in the black and white outfit, the one who allegedly stole the show looks underfed and a bit vacant........I loathe the royals and all they stand for......so much money and that's the best they can manage. Time for an urgent re think. Yes the Queen has done a reasonable job but we don't need her or the monarchy anymore.

You cannot put one family above all others and expect and socially fair and enlightened society. Send them all to the charity shop with their dire outfits and off down the job centre for some proper work.

Poor girls - they don't stand a chance really with their parentage. I do agree with merlotgran. Do you all remember one of them had a hat that looked as if it were decorated with entrails at William and Kate's wedding? Who let her out of the house wearing that? Hate to be catty but as has been said they could do with a little more dignity given that they are kept by the taxpayer and should be part of the 'Family Firm', displaying just a little of the dedication, stoicism and humility that the Queen always has. Maybe age will improve them...

As an artistic kind of soul,I think that Beatrice is just expressing her individuality,although I do agree that a public family event may not be the best place to do it.

I think the girls look great, nothing wrong with their outfits for their ages. I also am a huge fan of their mother, always have been.

Nobody seems to have mentioned what Samantha Cameron was wearing. At least she wore a hat - but not very dignified to wear a sleeveless dress on such a formal occasion. And the hat was nothing to write home about either and didn't go with the dress - she obviously decided to wear the hat at the last minute.

I think they all look nice except Eugenie and Edward's daughter. Eugenie clearly decides for herself and doesn't care about what others think. Edward's daughter is far too young for her style (sorry, can't remember her name), but it's a pretty pink.

I thought Samantha Cameron's dress looked nice, but was too informal for the occasion.

I felt sorry (probably misplaced) for the Duke of Edinburgh today wearing that enormous bearskin - at the age of 95! For goodness' sake! Maj in bright green but yesterday's yellow was much nicer - in my opinion.

Sophie Wessex always looks elegant, doesn't she? And I do agree that the young Kent girl looks lovely!

I liked Sam Cam's dress - it's nearly sold out now online. At least it didn't cost the reported £3000 that that Alice in Wonderland costume did. It looks fresh and young, though perhaps a little jacket would have polished it up a bit for the occasion.

I think Eugenie has cracked it finally!! She looks very pretty and the hat is nice and understated too. Perhaps she should have a word with her sister.

Not very kind to comment on Beatrice's eyes, though, as she can't help her looks - she looks very much like Queen Victoria in fact.
She has plonked herself right at the front, though, upstaging Aunty Ann (well, we can't see the Princess Royal at all with that dress blocking the view).

The little boy (James?) looks as if he's hoping to get away soon (how much longer?!) - thinking about what's for tea probably, like all young boys.
