I was a guinea pig at my local GP surgery this am and there were 5 medical students. The subject was arthritis and at the end one of them had the cheek to ask me if I needed help to wash and dress! They had not bothered to ask me how I got there (drove) and had to climb a flight of stairs. I do realise that being 72 I probably should not be on this planet.

I spent over 2 hours this pm doing patient surveys at the same surgery and I did think that the receptionists could at least have offered the pair of us a cup of coffee as it was a very hot day.

I did not feel like supper but managed 2 Magnums instead! I will sleep tonight I think.

Magnums , Charley have chocolate on, chocolate is a bean, a bean is a vegetable hence you had salad for tea !

NanaandGrampy I am not only going on holiday with you next year but Tara and I are moving in with you when you return!

soop at the rate at which we are moving we will need a new extension fairly soon please.

The assault here is now in the hands of CID so I am wondering if this is not the fellow's first offence. C has spent a load of dosh replacing keys and as luck will have it his boss is a family solicitor who is happy to help. He should at least get the dosh back + compensation for the trauma if zilch else.

Hello all. I have just got home and heading for bed, so a quick thank you for the many PM's I have had and all the support on line, I feel quite humbled, perhaps I'll give the slugs a day off tomorrow
I do feel it is time to try and bring back the GN that we knew a year or two ago, where everyone felt safe to post without retribution, and to have a risqué joke.
