I love receiving an Easter egg. I have made this known and DH (of 20 months) has dutifully purchased something. As he told me the size, the price and where he bought it from, I have a fairly good idea of what I am getting!
We have bought modest eggs for family this year - £3 instead of the £6-8 that we have often spent, but we have also bought lots of cream and Lindt eggs to have in a big bowl. I don't think anyone will feel hard done by.
Have to say - the M&S eggs (advert) look stunning - I would rather have smallish / classy than big but ordinaire (but suspect I will receive the latter). Picky? Moi? Not ungrateful - but as Sally (When Harry Met Sally) would say 'I want it the way I want it. ' I think Dh gets a bit exasperated
