I have an iPad mini and a MacBook Pro, how about you?

I only use a desktop with dual 24" displays. A site like this doesn't need that much but if I'm doing something like the church accounts I have the accounting package on the main screen and the emails and calculations on the secondary. I got used to a double headed system in my last job.

Kindle fire 90% of time. Smartphone if I'm out and get bored/ curious grin

I hate Smartphones, although I have one, I use it only for speaking to family and friends, send the occasional text and take photos - much smarter than I am!!! Love my laptop and wouldn't be without it. Sit on my sofa, find "Sounds of the 60s" or similar and while I'm listening, deal with my survey sites, competition sites, surf away or play a game.

IPad. Much lighter on my old lap than the laptop which I hardly ever use now. Still have a basic mobile phone which is only used for emergencies. Get very annoyed when out shopping by people texting and walking in front of my scooter.

Laptop only. I still have a "classic" mobile, not a smartphone as I just want to use the mobile for making calls, texting and the occasional photo

Kindle Fire, Android phone and rarely, laptop.

In case anyone is interested I use a Toshiba laptop during the day. In the evening (in bed) I use a Samsung Android tablet.

My phone isn't a Smartphone (I am not even sure what that is), but I can make calls and do texts on it. I believe it has the capacity to go on the internet etc, but I really don't need that so have not needed to us its other facilities.

My laptop and occasionally my smart phone.

MacBook Pro laptop (love it), iPad, mainly to watch the odd tv programme in the kitchen & iPhone as now when can't be bothered to go & get laptop. Whoever said what would our grandmothers say posed a good question. In fact what will technical life be like in another 10--20-30 years is maybe a good question for another thread. I'd love to know.

Kindle Fire usually, desktop if I've switched it on to do my accounts etc, smartphone if I really must (takes forever to load). How lucky we are to have all this technology at our disposal.

iMac - occasionally my iPad but find it easier to type on a keyboard. Haven't tried on my smartphones - too small to see and can't be bothered to type on them!

I just love technology. I have all apple devices and 2 androids. Imac desktop, iPhone, Mac book laptop, the 2 androids are Samsung tablet and a Kindle. Just plain greedy, I admit. At the moment I am typing this on my samsung tablet.

rosesarered Sun 31-Jan-16 22:19:03

smayed Sun 31-Jan-16 23:14:32

Laptop only

What's surprised me on this thread, is how many different devices some of us have got! Altogether at home we have a PC, two laptops, four iPods, two iPhones, two iPads and two Samsung tablets. I thought we were a bit technology happy but it strikes me we are not alone!

The only piece of technology I have - a PC! My mobile phone runs on steam power - it is a Siemens tiny thing which can deal with 24 messages in total! It is about to celebrate its 15th birthday! I'm just a dinosaur I think.

Yes, well done all us grans who have got to grips with technology. I have a lap top, a smart phone and a tablet. My gs thinks I'm amazing because he thinks I am very elderly smile The tablet is mainly for him when he comes to visit. I like my laptop best because it's a nice big screen whereas the smart phone involves a lot of peering and spectacles.
