I hust have a laptop. I recently renewed my trusty Acer Aspire with an HP one with Windows 10. Very happy with it.

I mainly log in using my laptop as I prefer the larger screen.

Bluesmum Sun 31-Jan-16 09:31:42

Yes I do wonder why this question is asked also the one about our 5 favourite beauty items. Is this market research? Will the info be collated and used in sales if not by gransnet any outside company reading our replies might find the information useful

I use either laptop or desktop normally but have an android tablet and smart phone too. and, if the whim takes me, I can log on via the wii or my 3ds!
daughter [who lives with me] has her kindle fire and both granddaughters [who also live with me] have laptops and smart phones as well as a 2ds each.
until I read the op I didn't even think about how I log on!!

I asked the question out of simple curiosity.

Ipad

Juggernaut Sun 31-Jan-16 11:14:21

I-pad, I-phone, Laptop, Desktop, it all depends on where I am or what the weather's doing.
Presently on i-pad in conservatory (with underfloor heating, I'm not daft) watching wild birdies on feeders!

I pad mini with retina display! Looks like Apple is taking over the world, my younger son, daughter in law and 11 yr old grandson all have their own. An impecunios friend bought a tablet for £50 from ebay (can't remember the make, but when my ipad needs replacing that's where I'll be looking.

Stansgran Sun 31-Jan-16 12:29:58

iPad and rarely laptop. It's helpful to find out other modes of connection. Smart tv for example . I don't mind telling people my tech buys or my beauty products but I draw the line on some of the threads on cleansing intimate areas and similar.

Bellanonna Sun 31-Jan-16 12:36:20

iPad only

chrissyh Sun 31-Jan-16 13:29:24

My DD has dragged me into the 21st century insisting I get a smartphone and, although I look at messages, etc. if they don't need an urgent reply usually wait til I can use my laptop. I always seem to produce gobbledegook on my phone and takes me forever.

jan727 Sun 31-Jan-16 13:46:06

I got my laptop in December and have been attending a computer course for the over sixties to get me up and going - wish I had started before!
