So sorry to hear about Feetlebaum.

Thank you Ariadne. I hope his family can read this thread to see how much he was valued by us. A lovely man, he'll be sorely missed.

I have only just read this sad news. As a newcomer it seems I have missed out on a very poular 'grandad'.

How sad . I liked reading his posts and I always thought his comments were fair and well reasoned, with a dose of humour at times.

Gransnet benefitted from the likes of Feetlebaum that's for sure. I remember yonks ago I called him Feetle 'bum' and his response was typically gracious.

I was a lurker for many a year and always admired his contrubutions to forums. R.I.P and condolences to his family and friends.

Sorry to hear the sad news. He was a man who was not afraid to express his point of view. I often disagreed with him but I admired and respected his views. R I P.

Oh I am sorry to hear this! I enjoyed his posts and the odd jokes I shared with him. We shared a lot of musical tastes, I hope he's having a blast where ever he is.
