Good morning, all.

Just to tell you that Feetlebaum, whom some of you will remember, for his sometimes caustic wit and comments, has died. I think he last posted at the end of December. He was a FB friend which is how I know - his brother posted on his page.

I shall miss him!

I think we will all miss his posts and his knowledge.
I realised ,through a post of his that we were born within a few weeks of each other, now that is a sobering thought.

Oh dear. I am glad that you shared the news with us Ariadne as it's slightly worrying when a regular poster disappears and we're left to wonder whether they're okay or not. Please pass on my condolences too.

Shocked to read this sad news. I looked forward to his contributions especially his memories, humour and vast musical knowledge.

I will of course pass on your messages, but it was only when neighbours called his brother to say they hadn't seen Feetlebaum for a while that the police were called and found him dead. But he had many friends, especially virtual, judging by the tributes on FB.

janeainsworth Fri 29-Jan-16 10:01:45

GN will not be quite the same without Feetle. He often provided some balance. Condolences to his family.
