Good morning, all.

Just to tell you that Feetlebaum, whom some of you will remember, for his sometimes caustic wit and comments, has died. I think he last posted at the end of December. He was a FB friend which is how I know - his brother posted on his page.

I shall miss him!

Very sorry to hear this sad news, I enjoyed his posts he seemed a bit of a maverick and very interesting. He will be missed, we don't have that many men who post on GN which is a shame.

We have to remember, Feetlebaum might not have wanted his family to know he was a member of Gransnet.

Oh I am sorry to hear this! I enjoyed his posts and the odd jokes I shared with him. We shared a lot of musical tastes, I hope he's having a blast where ever he is.

Precisely, jingl!

I have passed on condolences etc, but only from "one of the many forums of which Chris was a member" and said how much he had been appreciated etc.

Luckygirl Sat 30-Jan-16 11:09:28

Please listen to Spike Jones and his City Slickers William Tell Overture (feetlebaum). This is where that lovely man found his user name. I remember him mentioning this on a Thread about how we chose our user name.
I would post a link but don't know how. You'll find it on YouTube. It is quite amusing! ? ? ?

Sorry to hear the sad news. He was a man who was not afraid to express his point of view. I often disagreed with him but I admired and respected his views. R I P.

How sad . I liked reading his posts and I always thought his comments were fair and well reasoned, with a dose of humour at times.

Gransnet benefitted from the likes of Feetlebaum that's for sure. I remember yonks ago I called him Feetle 'bum' and his response was typically gracious.
